After my first game with LordAK, I've been psyched about my return to Nids - no longer is shooting a bane - (still is, but I've found ways to nullify that). Also monsters have a huge list of benefits now.


HQ:
Flying Hive Tyrant
+Wings
+Brainleech Devourers
+Preferred Enemy

(Exchanging ALL psychic powers for Biomancy powers - huge chance I'll get the one that grants him FnP, regenerate, etc; or the one that gives +D3 Strength. That would really help Vector Strikes against vehicles!)


Prime
+Two Boneswords
+Scything Talon
+Poison
+Regeneration


ELITES:
Hive Guards X2

Hive Guards X2

Zoanthropes X2
(May or may not exchange Warp Blast for Biomancy Powers, making them unit buffers instead. This depends on what armies I'm playing against.)


TROOPS:
Warriors X4
+Bone Sword / Lash Whip
+Death Spitters
+Poisoned

Tervigon
+(FnP psychic power)
+Poisoned
+Scything Talon

Tervigon
+(FnP psychic power)
+Poisoned
+Scything Talon

Termagants X10

FAST ATTACK
Gargoyles X15

HEAVY SUPPORT
Tyrannofex
+S10 cannon



There's potential for five units to gain FnP, and with more termagants mean I can hold down plenty of enemy units, and not worry about the 'no retreat' wounds.

2 x Tervigon.. you got enough gaunts? From what I see, you need at least 40 of em bugs!

The Flyrant is gonna be hard to deal with. I foresee the next time we meet will be very different experience for my DE.

I have 50+ painted gaunts but I have about 20 more unpainted. Can always bring 'em out Very Happy

Flyrant is gonna be interesting to use... but that requires me to get a Flyrant to begin with. Also have to consider upgrading my Tyrannofex and Tervigons... they're so small now compared to the new models...

Ya I actually look forward to more games with my Nids. (DE on hold again?)...
