| Bit of an experiment. I'm quite pleased that the DE minis are starting to exhibit some of the flair that Rackham's Dirz minis had (not surprising, since GW hired Aragorn Marks to do their monsters). Bought some Coven stuff and started doing them up mostly with inks and highly diluted paint. WIP:    | |

| nicely done.. just a suggestion... you should wash those blood abit.. make some of them abit darker.. like dried blood.. i think the red is abit to bright | |

| Same here ... the minaitures are very well painted and look really cool. A wash on the blood to tone it down a bit would make the miniatures even better. | |

| Thanks for the suggestion guys. I washed the blood, added some brown for dried blood, rust, and toned down some of the more extreme highlights.  | |

| Stumbled upon an easy way to achieve mottled evil-looking armour. 1. Prime black 2. Drybrush brown 3. Apply dark shade / ink (Nuln oil in my case) 4. Drybrush beige on the edges (optional) 5. Stipple lightly with the colour of your choice (e.g. Blood red in my case) 6. Stipple lightly with dull metallic silver mixed with the previous colour (boltgun) I suppose I can stipple it with dark green and light blue for verdigris...  | |
