Slight delay in X-Wing 2nd Wave miniatures but huge event coming our way!

There's a delay in the 2nd wave miniatures, but good news is, there will be a major The Kessel Run Preview Event for X-Wing. Hope over here will be able to organize the tournament. Read all about it.

Yes, FFG has sadly confirmed that the 2nd wave models will only be available in February 2013

BUT, as a great pacifier, WE WILL BE HOSTING THE KESSEL RUN EVENT between 14-16 December

This is your chance to not only get the first look at the 2nd wave models, but also play in a tourney to win one... NOTE: SALES OF 2ND WAVE MODELS FROM THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED... so if you don't take part, you can't get them...

As we just got news of this yesterday, we are now planning for suitable venue(s) to hold this, so stay tuned for updates!

Also, we announced the first 100-point tourney for 1 December, but in view of KESSEL RUN (which is essentially a 100-point tourney), we will be cancelling the 1 December tourney and focusing on this.

The MF will be with you soon --- and just so you all know, Jedi Jade has already won himself one MF by winning the 1st SW X-Wing Tourney (60-points) earlier this month.

Edwin .. u serious .. or is my eyes playing tricks on me. Kessel Run event we will get to host it. Thats like freaking AWESOME!

Why dun we have both the 100-pts squad tournament on December 1st and The Kessel Run event on a different date, the more tournament we have the more fun and more players will join, will have promote the game as well too.

I am looking at 24 players for KESSEL RUN since the prizes are going to be super kool - all the 2nd wave models!

Most guys asking on the actual date for the Kessel Run event. Will it be on December 15th, 2012 since it's a Saturday?

yes, will be saturday... venue to be confirmed as i need to assess number of players and space requirements...

Time don't forget to tell us the time too

Since 1st December is like 2 weeks away, maybe we should just to the Kessel Run game so we have some time within our individual groups to really rally up more players for the "bigger event".

Perhaps so because not many people voted in our group since we already have like 26 members. So far, we only have 3 members voted for both tournaments and 3 members voted for the Kessel Run event. I do not mind stick with just the Kessel Run event, perhaps with that, we will give more time for players to gear-up their 100pts squad and some practice games to prepare themselves for the big event.

So far we have the date for the Kessel Run event and it will be on December 15th, 2012. We are currently still waiting for the time and location.
