Normally, when I play a game, I use the official tournament time which is 60-75mins.

To be honest, it's actually a really awesome game and it's cheap to invest than other miniatures game if you choose to play Rebels Smile

From your reports, I thought it was only 20-30 minutes hahaha. But still, one hour isn't that long actually.

Looking at the pic.. It would be nice to play the game at Legio using the BFG tables eh diff? Smile

Hmmm.. ive never been to Legio before so i dunno wat a BFG table looks like. The space mat that u see in the picture is mine. The X-Wing official tournament battlefield is on a 3'x3' play area.

I dont know how to describe them.. but to me, it looks like real space Smile
This game looks interesting and simple enough to follow/begin/invest.

What do we need to begin? Price?

Well .. to start, u will need a core set, which consist of 1 X-wing and 2 TIE Fighters figures (pre-painted) and some tokens and templates as well. The core set is around RM159 (some places are cheaper)

Then you will need the expansion (X-Wing, Y-Wing, TIE Advance and TIE Interceptor) which is around RM59 (again .. some places might be cheaper)

If you are going for Rebels .. u will just need the Core set, 1 X-Wing expansion and 1 Y-wing expansion, in total you will have 3-ships but getting an extra X-Wing expansion to make it a 4-ship is optional. With this, you will have a 100pts squad to play in tournament format.

If you are going for Imperials ... there will be more ships to get. U will also need a core set, 1 TIE Advance expansion, 3 TIE Fighters expansion and you will have a 100pts squad for Imperials.

Tournament format is just 100pts squad army, will not go more than that for now. So after you have these, u will not need to buy anymore until February 2013 Smile

There are some players who plays around PJ and KL area, perhaps you can either try Toybox (Taman Paramount) or Spartan Games Arena (Wangsa Maju)
