Legio Army Throwdown I, Pt. II - Feb 1st TROOPS

All right folks, here's the new thread to talk smack, post progress updates, ask questions, or comment on the next throwdown. I'll be doing a Sons of Horus Legion Tactical Support Squad of nine marines- a Sergeant and eight marines armed with Volkite Calivers. I feel like poo that I didn't finish for last night's throwdown- this shall not happen again!!

I'll bring my next squad of CSM, 7 painted, 3 more to go, manage to finally finish the banner and start painting the champion last nite, mental note: built/paint a display board as well

I'm curious, how do transports count? Silly Ghost Ark would take me probably two weeks to do itself at this rate....

If it's a dedicated transport it doesn't count as anything. You could display it with the squad it's meant for, or just wait until May 10 for the final throwdown. You could also display one as a wild card choice. As long as 2000+ points is fully painted for May 10th and you've 'thrown down' at least four times, you're good to go.

Am progressing well with my Iron Warriors, working on the Elites now..the problem now that I don't have enough models to reach 2000pts..hopefully I can have them along the way b4 May deadline...and conversion work is such a b***h!

Can't even fight Space Marine Scouts properly.
Takes hours to paint one.
Takes minutes to kill one.

Gonna hate them one day.

Been so busy I have not even started painting my 2nd squad yet... omg....

Have been assembling future entries since yesterday..will start work on the second troops choice tonight..

Been tied up by pocket money freelance project till last nite, today woke up and spent whole day on the squad leader... 2 models and a display board to go

Very nice Doc! Love the White Scars! Have you decided to paint up "modern" White Scars instead of heresy era? I just want to make sure I don't have it wrong on the throwdown tracker...

I'll be there with 10 DE Wyches. They were assembled few days ago with lots of mad frantic painting yesterday, still got to touch up a little bit but they'll be good to go by throwdown time.

@Deathkorps- I will receive my Jetbikes tomorrow together with my preheresy models.
These will be my last 40k models that will be displayed. I am saving my Preheresy models for March because I will be able to come down there to display them in person.

Nice looking scars there Doc. Congrats on getting them done . I've always wanted to paint a white scars force...even have korsarro khan model.
