After more than a month of no hobby, I managed to put in an 1850 game vs Ultramarines on the ultra-awesome Legio winter table at Hobby Forge. It was the first time I faced the new smurfs and shiny stuff like centurions etc. I was over-cautious the first 2 turns and it cost me dearly, losing a prism, a serpent, the guardians, and another serpent immobilized and all i killed in return were 3 land speeders and his scouts.

Then I reverted to the old style and the Eldar surged forward focused on the mon-keigh center. The Vypers wiped out Devastators w ease, while other units reduced his termies to just the seargent, there was shooty to spare, and that was put to good use to kill half of the centurions. Return fire focused on the Farseer's bike squad and they were all gunned down. But I still had most of my firepower left and eventually killed all but 5 models in the mon-keigh army. The Crimson Hunter once again ruled the skies. It was attacked by a storm talon, had to evade and took a hull point hit, but then did some impossible maneuvers, and coming out on the mon-keigh flyer's flank, shot him down - with snap shots! Awesome ...
