11.05.1947, War room busyToday i saw our officers busy with Allied Intelligence agency officers, I think something big is happening, From the mess hall we overheard the Coms officer talking about a VK refinery in Kuantan that they are collecting information on. Taking control of the VK refinery will most definitely slow down the refinement of the material known as VK to the Axis forces in the east. The first big step to take back Malaya.
Our only fear is that, the base for the 18th Division of Imperial Japanese Army, the feared Chrysanthemum Division (菊兵團 Kikuhei-dan) and a number of allied german panzer platoons are based 35KM away from the VK refinery, our only consolidation is that the 18th is at half strength but even then they outnumber us in weapons and machines.
We have been told that this will be a combine effort from a number of allied forces, half of the platoons involved will be tasked in creating an ambush for the Kikuhei-dan and its allies, some demo teams are also involved in blowing the bridge over the river Kuantan. Our mission time is sorely base on how long the ambush team will be able to hold them off for. I still don't know enough but i hear there are secondary objectives for both teams...
Sounds like a big gig... hope the boys are ready for that!
I kinda drew a rough idea of what i think is going down.
