Re-Introducing .... !!!

Hello, my name's Azlan and I play with toy soldiers (everybody: hello Azlan)

Anyways, I've been wargaming for quite awhile now. Started with 20mm WW2 back when Star Wars was first released. In the 90s, moved on to 15mm Napoleonics (Napoleon's Battles, In the Grand Manner, Chef d'Bataillon, and later General d'Brigade) and rediscovered 20mm WW2 (Command Decision, Rapid Fire). Thanks to a trip with my old band down to Singapore in 2000, was introduced to the glory and addiction of 40k and the GW world.

So currently, my collection includes, more or less:

40k:
Eldar of the Alaitoc (very first 40k army)
Brandenburg Imperial Guard (main Apoc army)
Mad Donna's Militia (for K1)
Catachan Air Cav (WIP)
Thousand Sons
Ravenwing
... and a few cupboard's worth of WIP and NIB stuff

FOW:
British Rifle Coy (late-war)
... and another WIP army

BFG:
Imperial Navy - Battlegroup Farquhar

15mm Napoleonics:
Austrians

15mm DBA:
early Imperial Romans

I still have most of my old 20mm WW2 stuff - US Armored Infantry, US Tank Bn, British Airborne, Soviet Tank Bde. My 3 WIP armies that i would love to see done sometime soon (within this decade): 40k AirCav, Pre-heresey Thousand Sons and FOW Germans.

And as would be typical for any wargamer, I still have all kinds of things in boxes and blister packs - which I'll get around to - someday.

I've not been hobbying as much as I would like to in the past year, but you may find me furiously rolling dice on Friday evenings at Legio Malaysia

For those who dont know.. This guy is one of the Grandmasters of Malaysian 40k scene.

We should really have an Apoc sometime this quarter to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 40k

I really like the idea of multi-table parallel battles - like the one in WD.

I think you have more armies that you've listed here, for example, your Necromunda gangs.

um ... yes, Vuel has a point. Truth is, i don't really have a complete inventory of models. I know I'm missing a very OOP metal landspeeder ... and I do have like 70-80 marines waiting to become Dark Angels ... o well

My current excuse is waiting for 6th ed. i'll come up with a new excuse when the time comes

I figure an army representing 3rd (battle) company Dark Angels would complement my Ravenwing nicely. Of course, then I'll also need to collect Deathwing

Don't forget one BFG game at the side with missions such that should the attacker succeed, the defending/attacking side on the homeworld below can call orbital bombardments or reinforcements!

The BFG part does sound tempting.

That's what deathkorps had in mind for awhile now, and even BFG fleets complementing a 40k campaign ... that would be awesome! And if you don't want to suffer the wrath of a gaggle of dif2find's Thunderbolts raining lascanno and autocannon death on you, take out all the launch bays in the Navy's carriers!

Yeah we might try and squeeze a BFG campaign in, but with Bagration and the Great Crusade coming up later this year, it might be tight!
