Hello Folks it is i... the maker

Hi ya peeps,

it is i Faizal also known as pax.

I started wargaming when i was 14(30 this yr ) My first taste of it was at my school oddly enough... saw some form 5 dudes playing with toy soldiers over a bunch of school tables with terrain made of books... I inquired on them and they told me it was warhammer 40k and toss me a 2nd ed csm codex... i was like so awestruck I beg my mom to take me to the store they mention... There i bought my first GW mini it was a box of 5 khorne berserkers.

It will take another 6 months till i met Spunkybass at games castle, i remember that day fondly cause i beat nick in 40k and autocannoned his dante to death... then it was like D6x2 shots doubles jam. Spunky invited me to his place in balau apparently there is a game group there and i should join em. Which i did... there in that dusty, hot, smoky basement i played my games every saturday from 1-6pm sometimes even later! Met some really cool people there like me chaos mentor warmaster kai, riz, ainul, sham, gib and many more, was definitely my best times there. And i can still bet the same CD is in the cd player downstairs for 10 years... either the police or U2...

in 2007 i launched 40kmalaysia, It kinda just happen over a discussion and a cup of teh tarik... I realize that there were so many game groups, and wargamers around malaysia that were not connected to each other. And i felt it would be cool if we could build a platform to let wargamers meet and expand the hobby thru discussions, and events. And over night we launched the site.

Since then i kinda have to put my wargaming on the side, because of time constraints due to work and family. I tend to pop by HF right now mainly to raid Alvins store... I might be returning to Legio in the near future as my new house is 10 mins away from legio ^^

My gaming style is kinda laid back... I am not one of those rule hammers, more of a just go with the flow kind of guy, and i tend to find the fun in playing more satisfying than winning... Winning is great but playing a wargame and seeing some epic moves on the field is rewarding!

For my armies i used to have 3 fantasy and 5 40k armies but i have kinda tone them down to 3 40k armies

Chaos Space Marines (undivided) - 4k points
Tau empire - 3k points
Dark Eldar - 3k points
