We have just got the official word...
Dark Vengeance, the new 40k starter set will be released on 1 September in 2 versions:
- Limited edition.
- Standard edition.
This time, unlike the 6th edition rulebook, the Limited Edition sets (which includes an exclusive Chaplain miniature) will be available through your favorite store (retailing at GBP65.00).
We have just placed an order for the new sets but GW has informed us that "they will allocate Limited Edition sets according to our total order" which means that at this point of time, we have no idea how many Limited Edition sets we will actually be receiving...
All we know is that GW will be finalizing their allocation within the next 2-3 days and then shipping out to all the distributors to reach us by 1 September. Note that we have been informed that no standard sets will be shipped until all Limited Edition sets have been distributed, so we may/may not be getting any standard sets on launch.
Given the above, please confirm your orders for Limited Edition sets asap with your favorite store and hope that that we will receive enough to go around...
