More terrains for the table

Well i have kicking ass working on my eldar.. but decided to make some terrains aswell.

this is some of it that i am working on.. any tip on plastering the foam or paiting them.. maybe color(grey rocks or brown dessert)











let me know if you guys have any ideas on terrain formation.. structures & etc.

I think desert brown (a bit reddish) would look nice, in fact, ur sofa pillow's color is just nice =D

cantik! u tried the mixture of filla and white glue already? how does it fare?

Like i mention in my blog.. it worked... no chipping and breaking apart. Considering i put in quite a large amout of pva to make it hold.. very little water.So far i have applied 2 coating already.. now.. im just filling up those small holes.

Well made some progress with the terrain... enjoying building them actually. Came up with another 2 piece and spray painted one with steel grey.. just testing.

just additional pic.. even i plaster the terrain.. i can still see the foams pattern.. should put another layer of filler... more work...hhmm... should i.

@dif: actually, the foam pattern looks like swamp or plant vein, if plaster it up is too much a chore, might as well paint em up and dry brush some green or brown to treat em as swamp or plant vein...

i have another idea... fast and simple... sand the surface... and snow on top.

how i wish i had an air brush right now. Well one the terrain is done i will most likely to leave it at alvin.. if he is ok with it.. so players can use.

Aggghhh... i think i just wreck one of my terrain piece.. well i bought some snow alright... and this how it turn out... check the my blog for the rest of the story.

thats some giant frost right there... lol... i think it would look better if you put the modeling snow first then some frost after... ^^

Might look nicer with a couple of movable trees like in Legio.

Now to find a snow table!

should put a festive tree there and some candy sticks....

it will be really cool to make a festive terrain set, Make a surreal background of candy canes and lots of candy mountains

hahaha.. that might be fu.. look for some candy cane.. well i may scrape the surface of and replace with a finer snow base.. working it out with alvin. Would be nice if he can get a big pack.
