Ahriman's new Hellbrute pal

The second game last night, I changed the list a bit, and it was pretty awesome:

Land Raider - dozer blades
Predator - tri-las, dozer blades
Obliterators (3) - MoT

Again, the true star is Ahriman himself. His Master of Decepton is awesome, allowing Thousand Sons troops and Oblits to outflank or infiltrate. His ability to manifest 3 witchfire powers per turn is just awesome. And leveraing on Tzeentch, Biomancy and Telepathy powers are really cool. Pyromancy is great too, but being Tzeentch, it's ok lar.

That second game was brutal I am still feeling the pain even now... my flank charge looked text book DE but your saviour was master of deception, it save you big time! Terrain was also a factor.

Thinking back I realized vs your guys I should have stay back and in reserves till turn two before pushing up.

Overall this list is really awesome and I think you should try it a few more times

Ya, will definitely play more games with this, and other, Thousand Sons list to get used to all the wonderful new toys we have. I'm also thinking about Chosen, just because DV comes with some nice models already

But ya, the second game was brutal! By turn 2, there was already so much carnage, and by turn 3 most of the DE army was in ruins .... nuts

Master of Deception is real awesome traits. Thousand Sons in Rhinoes got huge boost from it. Hell.. even plain CSMs got huge boost from it.

Rapid-firing AP3 bolters in your face in Turn 1? Memang superbly EVIL !!

Looking at all your lists, you really like your LR eh? BTW, is this a 1500pts or 1750pts list?

i seriously need to game this coming weekend.. i have yet to fight the new chaos... must be deadly.. in the right hands that is.

Played second game with this list vs Nahri's BA. Lost the game in turn 7 (game should have ended in turn 6 ... lol). But it was a blast. Had problems w the 2 storm ravens but otherwise was not bad at all. My aspiring sorcerer w the force axe died to perils again. And the aspiring sorcerer w the force staff was my MVP. Killed the BA Librarian AND the Captain. Not bad for a guy waving a magic stick
