Wondering if anyone have played the pc series Wargame.
I played the first one which was amazingly fun to play, Now its back with airpower and more toys. Basically in a nutshell its a "what if" Nato and the Warsaw pact went to war. You mainly command units from the 80s to the 90s. You do not do all those bs resource mining, This a straight up build an army and go to war. Which makes it closer to Tabletop wargame vs something like C&C or warcraft. Its quite realistic from what I see, for example its pretty clear that some anti tank rounds u need to get close to do anything to some top tier tanks n hitting it from the front, top (flyers) or side or rear does different levels of damage which is quite cool... damn ur tank can actually immo on this game.
Also in the campaign dont dream of taking a whole batch of "then" newly mint M1 they are so expansive that you can not take that many of them not to mention getting them resupplied properly...
There is a strong multiplayer fan base, and you can fight an 10v10 game which is like apoc level fights. Usually best when ur in a clan with a proper command structure. There is also a single player campaign that is quite similar to the total war series. It lacks a proper narrative but in a game like this you are making your own narrative
