| I will start off showing my Khador (Warmachine) army with my latest painted character warjack named Black Ivan. " A prized companion of the Iron Wolf, Kommander Harkevich, the modified Destroyer named Black Ivan has learned to anticipate its master's will and execute it with brutal efficiency. The sheer tenacity enables it to surpass the expected limits of its physical form due to dramatic changes to its cortex. While other Khadoran warjacks plod across the battlefield, Black Ivan wills itself to move with singular haste. The sooner it reaches the enemy, the sooner it can strike." - Warmachine: Wrath | |

| Thanks guys! This is actually one of my latest and in my opinion best painted model. My other models are pale in comparison, but I will post them later when I get back to further propagate Khador's propaganda! | |

| Although he is a very good and playable character, he's not a Beast. That term is reserved for another warjack.
Compared to a standard warjack, Black Ivan can do alot of things. - The most accurate ranged Khador jack (if only unmodified stats are considered). - Becomes even more accurate if controlled by the warcaster who owns him, Harkevich - Can push enemies 2" away for free while it's moving. This means he can open up charge lanes and can always be unengaged from melee hence, enabling it to shoot (In general, you cannot use your ranged attacks once engaged in melee). - If you miss this warjack, he can move 2". - His ranged weapon is 14" with a 3" aoe. - His claw rolls an extra damage die should you score a critical hit.
Black Ivan is one dodgy warjack indeed...

| Next in line, one of Khador's crazed madman on a horse, Fenris. " No doom reaver, however fearsome, compares to the one called Fenris. Some call him "the Unbound", for even the Greylords Covenant cannot govern his action. No one knows the history of the mortal man who became Fenris. Fenris' ability to ignore the conditioning and mystical restraints imposed on doom reavers by the Greylords proved troubling from the start. Khadoran military officials speak of Fenris only reluctantly." - Forces of Warmachine: Khador

| FYI,
- I got this idea of a dismountable horsey character from a friend. Rules wise, Fenris is able to dismount from the horse. - Fenris was commissioned by a friend. I painted the horse myself. - The horse is from Games Workshop's WHFB Chaos Marauders. - The hole behind Fenris' back was covered up by Green Stuff. - I magnetized the base to reduce chances on unattaching while lifting the model. - The white stain on the large base was due to evaporated super glue. I foolishly did not let Fenris' magnet dry properly and I left Fenris attached to the large base while the glue dried up. A simple black paint can be used to fix it though.

| Last one for tonight, the warjack that rightfully deserves the conferred title of a beast, Beast-09. Besides the Behemoth, I tend to have a soft spot for Beast-09. During the war in Llael, Kommander Sorscha was in deep trouble from a Cygnaran counteroffensive. Worse still, she sent her favoured Juggernaut back for refueling and resupplying. However, this favoured warjack defied its owner's commands and instead rejoined Sorscha to beat some blue butts. As soon as the last of the enemies fled, the warjack stood motionless as it ran itself dry. " It begins with a low, rumbling growl more felt than heard, and then comes the sound of air escaping like the grunt of a hunting animal that has caught a scent. The crushing sound of something massive treading through thick snow and ice follows, and the ground trembles with each step. When it breaks through the trees with the splintered crack of exploded timber, its prey already knows a monster approaches. This is the hulking Juggernaut called Beast." - Forces of Warmachine: Khador | |

| Beast-09 was one of the first few models I painted from the Warmachine line. As you can see, the paintjob wasn't as I'd hope for. Nevertheless, it was my first attempt at white and although improvements can be made, it somehow turned out better than expected. | |

| Real nice bro.. I like what you did to Fenris. I had similar idea for my WolfLord on Thunderwolf, but discard the idea since it require a lot of work with greenstuff.
Keep it up bro.. | |

| Thanks for the praises! It took me 17 years to get to this level of presentable amateurish painting. I still do some really crappy paintjob (as will be evident by my upcoming posts). | |

| Next up is Eiryss. Although she's a Mercenary, this hot angry elf is one of my most played solos as I propagate the Khadoran Propoganda. " For years Eiryss has swallowed her hatred of humanity and hunted spellcasters on the battlegrounds of mankind, and many who profane Caen with foul sorceries have fallen to her bolts and blade. While her methods have never been entirely embraced by her peers, her fellow mage hunters nontheless see Eiryss as an anointed angel of wrath who embodies everything the Retribution strives to achieve." - Forces of Warmachine: Mercenaries

| Next up is Torch, Kommander Strakhov's pet warjack. " If there is a nightmare common to soldiers across Western Immoren, it is the horror of trench warfare. Soldiers who see Torch descending upon their position watch that nightmare come to life in ten tonnes of flame-spitting death. It seeks out targets with fearsome eagerness, moving through enemy positions like a great mechanical predator. Excess steam vents with a terrifying hiss as the warjack descends into midst of its enemies, burning and cutting them down with brutal efficiency" - Warmachine: Wrath

| Unlike Black Ivan, I intended Torch to have a "dirty black" look. I achieved this using a light drybrush of GW's Charadon Granite and a clean highlight of the same paint. The red was meant to achieve a "burnt" look (it has a flamer after all) but with my bad wash application, it didn't turn out quite as I hoped for. Even though I truly adore stock paintjobs, I opted Torch to go a different route. I painted him to mimic exactly as my Strakhov's paintjob. The idea behind it is Torch would like to mimic Strakhov so much and it kind of reminds me of my brother who loves to wear the same shirt colour as I do... The base was made using cork. The intention was for Torch to stand on a cracking ground with lava beneath it. This was my first attempt, especially at OSL in between the cracks, and was really impressed at how it turned out. Would I risk a good paintjob again for this in the future? Probably not... | |

| Time to display my favourite warcaster in Khador's Propaganda, Kommander Sorcha. *Sorscha with new Giorgio Kharmani winterwear modelling contract. " When a teary-eyed Sorscha Kratikoff looked into her father's face at the age of thirteen winters and asked to be a soldier like him, he just smiled, patted the black hair on her head, and strode out the door to join his unit. Sorscha served in three consecutive tours of duty with the prestigious border garrisons at Ravensgard and participated in frequent bloody conflicts with Llaelese mercenaries and her Cygnaran counterparts. Her true potential surfaced during a conflict near the Ordic border when Torisevich was slain in an ambush and his `jacks suddenly fell dormant. Days later Sorscha Kratikoff stood before her queen in Korsk. " - Forces of Warmachine: Khador | |
