Medical Advice: Non-gaming Issue Empty
PostSubject: Medical Advice: Non-gaming Issue   Medical Advice: Non-gaming Issue EmptySat Aug 17, 2013 9:47 pm

Yesterday I went & 'clean' my backyard that I've been neglecting since way before puasa. The place has turned in to a forest reserved-banana plantation.

Seriously, I had to cut down 6-7 banana plants/trees, dug out 3 huge tapioca-branches & cut the waist-long grasses.

Now, I'm suffering from a severe back pain for several hours already. I can't sit, squat or bend properly. The area just slightly above my butt hurts real bad. I've eaten 1 panadol, rubbed some Yoko-yoko, & stick a Salonpas onto my back...but the pain is not lessening by much.

I remember having a packet of Ponstant somewhere, should I take 1-2 of those? Anyone with similar exp or with medical background, please, your advice is much appreciated.

Since I can't sleep, I'm now spending my time assembling my jetfighters...

I'll be damned.
Low Back Pain (LBP) can arise anytime and it is usually self limiting, lasting from 5 days to a week.
The other cause can be a slipped disc (Disc Herniation), which can cause severe pain and may need surgical intervention.
Try taking stronger painkiller, Ponstan, is a good choice. and rest for a few days.
If still cannot tahan, you can go to your doctor to get a Voltaren Injection which might do the trick.

Yeah, thanks Doc. I've taken a Ponstan (1 pill only) before sleep. The pain has lessen a bit, but masih lenguh-lenguh a bit.

No worries.
Also do some mild back exercise, everyday. Stretching is best done while sitting on a hard floor with your legs straight and slowly bending your body(like a clasp knife). Repeat 10x.
