'Force Recon' Hobby Forge Grand Opening 40K Tournament

Last night, the familiar Hobby Forge shop announced their relocation to new digs. It's great news, especially since a little birdie has told Legio Malaysia that they will have TEN wargaming tables set up full time. Nice!

So, to break these tables in properly Legio Malaysia is pleased to announce we are running a Grand Opening 'Force Recon' 40K Tournament. This will be a standard Legio format, FOUR round, 1000 point bash held at their grand opening on October 26th.  Armies will need to be fully rep, fully painted. The cost to sign up will be RM 20, and this will include an awesome t-shirt to commemorate  your participation in the new Hobby Forge's first ever event. With the low points value this should be easy to cobble together a painted army, and games will be fast and furious! There are only 20 spots available, and signups start TODAY. You'll need to provide us:

1. Your name
2. Your army list
3. Your t-shirt size
4. RM 20

Once that's done you'll be all set. We expect spots to go quickly, so please don't delay if you're interested! You can pass your registration details and cash to the staff of Hobby Forge or to any Legio Malaysia officer.

Great to see all the interest, but FYI tomorrow is the last day you can register and get a free tshirt in the bargain. We'll take registrations all the way up to tournament day (if there's space), but the freebie offer ends tomorrow.

Sorry folks..been out of the loop fer a while now. As usual, i'll be involved with the major national exams (MUET & STPM), only this year, they put me as the big-boss in-charge of a certain area (I'M THE LAW!!!!!).

Which means not only will I be out of the "Force Recon" event, I might (90% certainty) not be able to join the Legio Dec Tournament. The saddest thing is, I even have the complete models for my Eldar army...looks like I'll be making my debut in 2014...

I'll see u guys next year!!

P.S: Currently, my weekend activity is ltd to having a simple d&d sessions with my kids - Lvl 2 Barbarian, Ranger & Assassin questing in a simple kobold-infested dungeon.
