| I had a quick and dirty scheme to thank for the speed it entails  Just re-watched Iron Man right before I painted the first model, hence the gold, red and blue gem scheme. | |

| Lazy plog: Sisters of Avelorn x10
Since I just bought a spanking new unit, I thought it'd be fun to take pictures of the progress that I've made day by day as well as how I did them. So, I've cheated 3 days:
Day #0 - Tuesday: Bought the Sisters box. Chillax at home while admiring the sprues at 1am.
Day #1 - Wednesday: Washed the sprues at the wee hours of the morning.
Day #2 - Thursday: Assembling. Accompanied by curses while trying to figure out how to rank them up as I assemble them.
Day #3 - CNY!: Primed them with white gesso. Even if I spray primed them, I always leave out a 24 hour window for the primers to set properly so them won't flake off when I paint them.
So a day of chillaxing today as I ponder what colours to paint them in tomorrow. Since they're a rare unit, they might receive a slightly different treatment than the rest of my army colour-wise. Still dominantly gold scales, but perhaps with dark leather and bone/green blended cloak? We'll see. Might even have to paint red gems for them this time.
