Expedition Response Cadre - Legio tourney 1850

Its actually the same list as I have been using so far, Except that I spread my Skyfire to 3 units instead of jamming them in one unit. Also added the marker drone commander/AA turret. Ive changed the pathfinders to more mobile marker drones to join my drone commander, 6 bs5 markerlights ^^

owh actually got... 6 BS5 marker lights 8 normal marker lights, I use less cause most of the weapons are twin linked.

I would like to test play yur army against my daemons but they are all at HF.

Fought jo today was a very furious fight I went thru with him... but i won, those dakka jets are awesome! I think this list is ok so far.commander shot 2 dakka jets, crisis suit down the helldake? N my riptide down another one.

but ur list IS actually damn deadly I have not fought orks in years, and that dakka dakka was just so awesome... at one point I was insulted u had more shots than I did lol... lootas were pretty good and damn long range bro!

Pax, how has the Riptides been working for you so far? Been thinking of going back to my Tau but really on the fence. If I did restart the army I would like to get a Riptide so seeing as you play 2 and gotten quite a few games with them it would be nice if you could share your experiences with them

Riptides are awesomely powerful man.

What an answer!!! Lol I mean is it worth it? Cause its not fearless and all. Could be run down if it loses combat. at 200+ points its a little steep cause can get more guns.

if enemies can get into combat with him, then you are definitely playing it wrong dy bro. it has 72" range and jump pack.

Snake Eyes on Jump Pack move!!! Haha no lar maybe you will want to counter assault also if you are stuck in combat. Its not bad as a MC.

Riptides are good because they are extremely versatile n surprisingly highly maneuverable. Like jo said it has a 6 feet gun range thats the whole board. It can intercept, skyfire, and flatten meq very easily. They fit those roles very well n shine when fighting infiltrators, flyers, and deep strikes n having two spreads the threat making my opponents unable to just focus fire on one. Not to forget loosen the heat on my marker units and broadsides.

tbh they are not that OP n crisis suits technically have more firepower. They serve diffrent roles I feel.

So far, i've ripped apart 3 riptides hahaha...

2 from a flying hive tyrant, and 1 from gargoyles. So despirte your range, there are faster things in the game. And not many things could take down a Flyrant with Iron Arm (T9 FTW!) or Endurance, before it gets into your lines.

As for the gargoyles, well what can I say? It loses by 1 point, it can be cut down.

Riptides seem deadly... unfortunately, I have not seen them perform well against my Nids... I can see their potential against 'heavier' elite armies, especially those with many flyers.

When you are fighting Flyers you have to get close with the Fusion Guns right? Cause the Ion Accelerator would only be firing 3 shots at S7 otherwise which is alright but not amazing. I might just run Intercept and Feel No Pain instead of Skyfire. Thanks for your help haha
