How did you get into wargaming?
A friend of mine lend me the Grey Knight books and got me hooked up on the 40k universe and finally taught me 40k wargaming.
How did you get into Tau?
I was reading through fluffs from the codexes, in search for an interesting and unique background of a race, the Tau Empire caught my eye the most.
What is your Tau colour scheme?
The standard colour scheme for Tau units would be just urban, purple, black and grey. But the XV8/88/25 suits are painted and some converted based on Gundam suits, so i'm planning on painting them to make them stand out as if the cadre was made out of veterans of mercenary groups as the cadre is named Mon'yanoi, "Black Moon".
How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member?
A member from the old forum, found that site from Alvin's Hobby Forge Facebook page.
Where and how often do you usually play?
As of now often sometimes for each weekend, most of the times at Hobby Forge, played at Comics Mart once or twice, have played at my friend's house in the past.
Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system?
Tau Empire is first and last army i'm going to play and die with. And that was I said a year or two ago, since my brother has abandoned from his Tyranid army, I plan to at least make it to 1750 points. Right now my Tau has around 3000 points.
What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against?
For the Tau I like to play with horde armies cause i get to kill a lot, the least favourites would be close-combat specialised and MEQ/TEQ heavy armies, you know why. For the Tyranids, I have not fought CC specialised but long-ranged armies, and those are my bane.
What is your best and worst 40K moment?
Can't say much since I haven't had much LOL times, but i guess my best moments would be locking a daemon prince in close combat with just one unit of 12 firewarriors for 3 consecutive turns.
Worst moments would be getting wipe out easily by Blood Angels and Orks on turn 3 or 4 at most, but I've been wiped out alot so I get used to it.
What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'?
There's only one time most of my family showed support when I entered a small tourney, though they sees as a partly a waste of money and my mum thinks I will outgrow of it. Marcus is the only friend outside of the 40K community that is a fellow player, his girlfriend finds me annoying cause all we talk about is 40K stuff when we meet,
. The others are more or less not bothered by it or as usual, thinks they are plain toys or gundam models.
What are some of your other interests?
I casually dance and sing, i like doing photography and videography.
Do you have any pets?
I have an adopted dog, named him Odin. I have a cat, no name but partly a stray though ever since it was born here, it kinda lives alongside with my dog.
What is your favourite band?
Japanese rock bands, recently School Food Punishment.
