Din-Orksaurs In 6th Ed

Diff: Still waiting for da Jets/Bommers to come fr Alvin. At least they r cheaper (RM wise) than Storm Raven & Valkerie/Vendetta.

The thing is, apart from Lootas, Orks lack effective long range firepower. At least with Blast/ Large Blast weapons, they'll be assuredly be dropped on da table.

The Burna Bommers are especially useful against cover-reliant units such as most Eldars, DE, Nids, IG blobs, Tau, SM-Scouts, Orks, Necron Warriors & Scarabs...etc..

i let my dakka jets do the job vs these coz blast can still scatter off from target.

It's about the same actually..
There's 1/3 chance for you to roll hit on scatter. Same with BS2 wat
But Dakka is more orky if you ask me hahaha..

nope. with dakka jet, you get +1 to hit vs everything except jetbikes and skimmers unless you pay 10 points for an Ace upgrade.

with that they get 4+ to hit which are twin-linked. A much higher rate of hit compared to bombers.

Yup, Dakka Jets r more accurate, but like i said, da burna bommers ignore cover sv.

Imagine fighting Lan's Eldar-Ranger army..2+/3+ cover svs will really annoy u like crazy, especially when they r claiming that particular objective..Or that 10 Scarab swarms coming towards your line. My Burna Bommers r my solution to these pesky situations.

among the flyers no. night scythe is still the cheapest at the cost of a bastion and AV11 with transport capability and 4 S7 Tesla shots.

dakka jets are 10 points more with only AV10 and 6 S6 pinning shots.

I mean, amongst the 3 Ork jets..

If among Flyers.. I'd say Vendetta gives the biggest bang for the buck at same cost of my Chaos SideLassPred.

definitely the vendettas are the best. the addtional AV and able to take advantage of the vehicle squadron rules is worth that extra 30 points. their AP2 has better chance of taking down other flyers too compared to night scythe.

Valkyrie is also not so bad. Take a Primaris Psyker as HQ, swap spell for Prescience fr the BRB. Then, take a sqdron of 3 Valkyries all with Lascannons/Multilasers, sponsons Heavy Bolters & Rocket Pods. Put da psyker in 1 of them & cast spell so that every Valkyries can re-roll to-hit their shots!!

3 lascannons/9 Multilasers + 18 heavy bolters + 6 Large Blast Frag shots all with re-rolls!! Memang syok!!

hahaha... u din read the FAQ? IG psykers only have access to biomancy, pyromancy, telekinesis and telepathy. They don't have access to Divination.

Easy... ally with SW and get a Rune Priest with Divination.

SW don't hav jets..tak syok!

ally with SM and get stormtalon lor.

or wait for the Dark Angels' release since they have the divination psychic powers too... then again maybe BA or GK as well since they have Storm Ravens... but GK only an ally of convenience I think, so pandai-pandai lorr...

Why not just stick to your Vendettas which are alredy t/l weapons, and save yourself the perils la...

Vote for Vendetta. Comes in Squadrons so you get several Lascannons and more Hull Points. Cheap also which is Cikgu Din's favorite preference. Cheap is good right

But moneywise.. 3 Vendettas is ..... HUGE!!

to bad can only take 1 Fast slot for allies. so if take 3 vendettas in 1 squadron, can only shoot 1 target. that's 9 TL S9 shots. I think a bit overkill. lolz.

Hahaha..I'm still waiting for the Chaos flyers. Hopefully they r more impressive than Vendetta.

@CikguDin: Remember there was one post which talked about not being able to draw LOS from the Quad Gun with the Gretchin cause its too short? I thought your classic bully Boyz use Mad Dok?
