40k painter with no clue on what army to start. Just painting in the now and trying to find the best place to buy GW stuff. Have some Orks and some Eldar guardians. Next target will be to get some Tyranids and Necrons.

The Hive Mind leads me.

there's a few shops all around Klang Valley which sells GW stuff. although if you're looking for the best place, currently id say hobbyforge in damansara, followed by Wolf's gameshop in petaling and comicsmarts in Midvalley. I think toybox also has some GW stuff but their stock is more awesome for Flames of War.

as for what army to start, id say you should drop down to one of the hobby places and check out the action yourself and let the Emperor show you the way instead of the Hive Mind.

Dunno bout best places... guess that depends on your locality. Hobby forge and PI in penang have good selection of gw stock prob the best stocked in malaysia. Non gw go to wolf game shop they stock tons of unique game systems.

Thanks for the tips guys. I have been to comics mart and Wolf's game shop. Comics Mart holds quite a good collection compared to Wolf's game shop but is a bit more expensive compared to Hobby Forge. I haven't been to Hobby Forge but have communicated with them.

I like the look of the Space Marines but they just seem to... good... I sense the calling of the Dark Gods... Haha! Thanks for the lovely welcome to this forum.

Quite like the look of Death Guard. But those, I would paint for the sake of painting but I wouldn't start a Chaos army. I take evil in small bites. Besides, I don't really have anyone to play with so yeah, painting for the sake of painting...

well thats ok for now, but if you plan to play any events you will need a ori codex and a rule book
