Game of Thrones Pt.2 [Knight of House Lannister]

Second miniature in my Game of Thrones project is done! Hopefully this gives me the momentum to tackle harder freehand heraldry designs in the other Houses in the realm of Westeros. Btw, more pictures and a video in my personal blog (http://foureyed-monster.blogspot.com/).

Yep, I painted the lions freehand ... all seven of them. ^_^

And nope, I didn't use the decals because they didn't look like a Lannister lion. ^_^

As for the character that he might be ... most likely Ser Kevan Lannister, a low level character.

Both Clegane brothers actually. One as per the usual Bretonnian Knight conversion and the other using a much larger-sized Nocturna Models miniature. Doing the Game of Thrones is good practice as I get to use all the colours in my collection!

Doesn't Dark Sword Miniatures have a mini for the Clegane Brothers. But there not on horses so I'm guessing you'll want them on horses right?

Yeah they do. In fact I have the Lannister twins from DS. Just wanted to do something different for the non-main characters like the Clegane bros.

That goes to show just how good your freehand is on those lions. Great job bro!

Thanks LordAK. Nice of you to say so. =) Some of the lion heads should have been painted better that's for sure.

Excellent work FourEyedMonster. You are getting better at each mini. Only think I can touch up is the base rim. The black seems to have some white frosting.

You have a fantastic eye for details Mr Chaos (as you should). ^_^

Lol ... When I finished with the main miniature I became too lazy to paint the base. That and I am not too sure what color to paint it. Do you think black is ok?

Black will do. Don't skim on the base. It completes the miniature.
