Finally..CikguDin's 1st 6th Ed Army List

After much thinking, this is my 1st take for the new 6th Ed. There r much that i need to get, but i'll take my time to collect them by the end of this year.

HQ

ELITES
1. GK Purifier Squad - 1 Knight of The Flame & 9 GKs, 4 Psycannons, 5 x Pairs of Nemesis Falchions, 1 Nemesis Daemon Hammer.

FAST ATKS
1. Stormraven Gunship - 4 x Mindstrike Missiles, T/L Multimelta, T/L Aslt Cnns, Hurricane Bolters sponsons, Psybolt Ammo.

2. Stormraven Gunship - 4 x Mindstrike Missiles, T/L Multimelta, T/L Aslt Cnns, Hurricane Bolters sponsons, Psybolt Ammo.


HEAVY SUPPORTS
1. Nemesis Dreadknight - Pair of Nemesis Doomfists, Personal Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator, Heavy Psycannon.

2. Nemesis Dreadknight - Pair of Nemesis Doomfists, Personal Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator, Heavy Psycannon.

Total = 1750pts

Target Priorities:-
1. Henchmen : Heavy Infantries, Heavy Tanks
2. Stormraven : Flyers, Flying MCs, Enemy Psykers, Light Infantries/Vehicles
3. Dread Knights : Blob of Light Infantries/Swarms, Charging Termies/Vehicles
3. Purifiers : Combat Sqd -
(a) Psycannons targeting light-to-medium vehicles/infantries;
(b) Falchions & Daemon Hammer for close combat

Note: I can also swap the 2 Rhinos for another Psyker Sqd consisting of 8 Psykers.

Before you start ordering things.. why dont you come here and try it dulu.
Coz I dont think I like this one.

Just a slight tweak. The 2nd version has a Librarian instead of Purifiers to increase my defense capability.

Like AK said, I want to try this list 1st. Maybe i'll make a visit to Putrajaya afterall hehehe...

That is why if there is a Farseer with RoW, I'll hunt him down like crazy. If he's in a Falcon/Serpent, I'll just open it up, then Mindstrike the Farseer. Mindstrike missile are now much deadlier to enemy psykers, since perils of the warp in 6th ed. disallows all types of saves.

Of course, i wouldn't use my Psyker sqds until he is dead, so the Farseer would have to hide himself pretty well.

Another option that I've thought about is replacing the Librarian with a Dreadnought - T/L Autocannons Psybolt Ammo. I'd then still have 35pts left to spend.

This way, I'd have 2 reliable long range anti-skimmers/light vehicles - 1st: Aegis Quad-cannons, 2nd: Dreadnought.

Oooh, I think my Ranger force would have a lot of fun against this one. And against the Deathwing too

farseers are much more survivable now with 'look out sir!'

actually my hive tyrant used to hate mindstrike, but now with the new flying rules, he's all right

Unless if your DE or Tau, taking a Farseer as an ally means you either get him his own transport or unit with him or he's gonna die very easily, even when they hide.

12 devilgants in a spore is all it needs to kill him, lol.

Again, I have 10pts which I don't know what to spend on. 2 Nemesis Falchions perhaps?

couldn't you save points by taking a bigger squad and then combat squad ding them?

you can save 40 points that way, then you can take another terminator and psycannon on the last squad

macam sama je cikgu...

by the end of 6th ed GW should change the fluff cause the marines would have ran out of 1st company members, not to mention the number of damaged terminator suits...
