Legio is Awesome

Was at Legio last week for some Warmachine, and we all only have this to say: "Awesome"

Thanks for having us.

Legio is really a heaven for Miniature Gamers. If i am not mistaken we can also paint there If you guys would have us, we are hoping to organise a bi-weekly Warmachine night there.

May i know more about Legio so i can work something out with the rest of the gang? Your opening hours? House rules? How do we book your awesome tables? Anything we can do to help? What else can we do there?

I look forward to more great times over there.

Basically:

It only opens on Friday nights - usually 5 or 6pm until whenever the 'Lord with the Keys' dictates.

Most important rule is to RSVP on Thursday night/Friday afternoon, especially if you have extra guests.

It is a club for Wargamers of any creed, so you're welcome to bring up ideas or projects that would help the community - as long as you run it by one or all of the Legio officers first (Jeff, Khairul, etc)

As far as regular Warmachine gaming, having a couple nights a month dedicated towards that sounds cool. Let us know how many are coming, and we can certainly reserve tables and whatnot. If you guys decide to stick around more regularly, we could even talk about building a couple of tables for Warmachine specifically.

Like Dann said it's a once a week Friday night thing, starting at about 6 almost every week, and ends usually around midnight or sometimes a little later. We also sometimes run special events on weekends- these are advertised and appended to the Google calendar at the bottom of the blog page.

Opening Hours
Friday Night only, 6pm onwards till the 'Keymaster of the Day' says so.
Please do visit the blog for notifications as we might be close on certain nights.

House Rules?
There are three basic rules:
(1) There should NEVER be any food or beverage on the gaming table.
(2) Do RSVP your name to the official blog to confirm Hobby Nights attendance.
(3) Only miniature-based games are allowed.

Other than that, you should be fine if you treat the place as a home for all attendees.
(I need to spell this out for the other readers) Since it's a home, that means treat each other with respect, smoking outside the premises, pay attention to hygiene, respect each other's figures, please help to clean up after you play, and no fighting.

Table Booking?
We're quite confident that we can accommodate all attendees.
FYI, we have 13 normal 6x4 tables and 2 galactic tables.

Activities
Dice rolling, painting, conversion, scuplting, making tables, building terrain; as long as it's connected to any hobby activities, you're good to go. The Hobby Table would be the one nearest to the door, do join us there for some hobbying pleasure.

Anything we can do to help? What else can we do there?
Well, what do you actually have in mind? We're not going to dictate what you must/should do, but if you have any ideas or activities that you want to do which contributes to the wargaming community in general, feel free to discuss this with the Legio Officers (Jeff/Azlan/Khairul/Alvin) and/or Legionnaires during Hobby Night.

No worries bro.

Here is mainly Warmachine players. We just had a few games just now.

Primarily we play there on Friday night (planing to be in Legio this week instead), and sometimes there are gaming on Sat and Sun too.


There are also a few Star Wars minis fellas, but not all the time.

As someone who just came back from the Warp, I must say Legio is in fact truly awesome!!!! It was good to be back last Friday. And to see the gaming happen back in the original room where it all started was heartwarming indeed. Hats off to the Legio officers and membership! Ave Legio!

Initiated and allowing us to us the factory premises about 4yrs ago...the first and foremost salute is for Jeff Brooks. Then on, everyone who came by did their part to get this club as awesome as it is now.

Would have been great if i could have pop up last friday... would have had an awesome BDay gaming. Specially againts my greatest rival... spunky TS.

Thanks.. i will try to make it this friday. I really want to see how dust going to be like. By the way i got those BA64 ready and i have base all the infantry. But i will need to clarify with you how many bases does the trains company really have.

It's an SMG Company with Command team , Komissar Team, and 1 Platoon (six stands of SMG troops). Total of 8 stands including the command & komissar teams. My bad- thought you had a book with all the basic Soviet lists in it. Thanks again for painting this up for our Firestorm troops.

Well then base on the content of the blister pack i manage to put up 1 command and 9 base of SMG 5 base with 4 figures 4 base with 5 figures. Its good to have extras then
