| This is a picture of a Terminator Sergeant from the Games Workshop's website. Can the words on his chest be painted using a small brush? Is that how it's supposed to be done? Or should I just cheat and use a pen? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. | |

| It's possible but slightly difficult. Depends on what you want to write, if it's the example you've given, easy but preferably use the smallest brush you have.
Free-hand drawings are usually done first with sketching (I use pencil) then you trace it. Basically to avoid mistakes that can be hard to correct afterwards. But since this is just a simple lettering, you don't really need to be very careful unless you want some extravagant lettering.
Google terminator sergeant and you'll find examples.

| I used to be able to do it, but it took too much effort. So I went and got myself a pigment pen. | |

| @AznJake ... Thanks Jake for the tips. Might try it out to see if I have what it takes to use a small brush to paint over a pencil sketch.
@Alvin ... Do they sell pigment pens in bookstores or are they only available in art shops?

1000 *LIKES* Same here. Use a pigment pen (0.2 is the smallest i think). It is a bit glossy so you will need to matt it.
