| I've got a couple of lists made up, but this one might be fun:

Land Raider is cool but I dont think your army really need it. Rhino is enough and the remaining points are better spent on more Sons! | |

| Yes, this is an update of my old build. To those who don't know, my Thousand Sons are an assault army, which is why I have Land Raiders. At 4HP each, I think they'll be able to get the Sons into close combat before they die. One thing I noticed about the new rules is that I can't be bothered with much upgrades at all - don't need stuff like D.Possession and Extra Armor nowadays. I do have another build with Rhinos instead of Land Raiders, and that one has 3 squads of Sons and Oblits. Probably more sane, but potentially less fun What I really want to try out are the 2 swooping creatures with Wind/Breathe Yes Paxter, come to Legio this Friday, and we'll have some fun. I think if you bring your DE, my Sons are toast | |

| i know lans list don't make sense on paper... but this list is one of the most long running cross country tourney winning monster list... that beats logic | |

| Now fighting TS is more scary.. My Berserkers are never gonna make it to combat the TS with the new transport rules+Overwatch+AP3.
Imagine, to assault I need to disembark early on --> Eat AP3 guns --> Move, Charge --> Eat AP3 overwatch --> Finally reach --> turned into Spawn hahaha.
I really need to finish my LR quick.

TS cant overwatch due to Slow & Purposeful. It is the early disembarkation for your zerker that will be pain in the S. | |

A question, why dont want to give your ctermies additional one or two cf/pf as backup ?? I believe there are some power axe in your termies config to handle those pesky termies ?? I like list no. 2 best | |

| Yea, unless you have termies to assault with, you don't really need the land raider. so those thousand sons on rhino is a better choice.

Yes, the list with termies is actually my favorite so far, but you know I just need to try out the super mini list just to have Fateweaver ally.
A variation of the original list, swapping the DP with a Sorcerer is also not too bad. And I still get the extra dakka Pred.
And yes, Paxter is right. My Thousand Sons are close combat troops. I have no idea how to play them as a shooty army. Just doesn't work.
My one big worry is that Perils causes 1 wound with no saves. I guarantee you that at least 1 of my Aspiring Sorcerers will die to perils every game. It happens even 5th ed, and that's with 4+ invul | |

| Yup.. Perils is even harsher now. Not to mention everyone now has a chance to stop Psy power on 6+. | |
