World Eaters Of DIN!!

A little bit of copying from Joe's, but with my usual touch of extreme approach, its not supposed to be World Eaters since there's no Berzerkers at all. Maybe if I have the models (I know AK can spare me a DP model) then I'll just paint them red & still call them Khorne-World Eaters!!

Daemon Prince
- Daemon of Khorne: Furious Charge, Hatred (Daemons of Slaanesh)
- Wings: Turn him into Flying Monstrous Creature
- Power Armor: 3+ Armor
- Gift of Mutation: Before deployment, get to roll on Boon of Chaos chart
- Burning Brand of Skalathrax: S4 AP3 Template, Torrent (fires like Hellhound), Soul Blaze
- Black Mace: Fleshbane (2+ to wound), AP4, Daemon weapon (+D6 attacks). Unsaved wound, model must take Toughness test or be removed as casualty without any saves allowed. At the end of assault phase, if caused 1 wound with the weapon, models within 3" of the bearer that has yet to suffer a wound from the Black Mace has to take a toughness test or suffer a wound without any saves allowed.

apart from throwing all logical theme and fluff out the window. I guess its ok... although i would hate to know how much that DP is going to cost... my guess is around 400pts? And vs my de... I am going to splinter the living crap out of that DP

He's around a Bloodthirster price. Yup, he looks scary but honestly, after testing it for 5 games now, he's not worth the points. Either let him eat 1 unit and then fire the hell out of him later or just shoot him down. Either way works.

The theme of the army? Simple - "Hot & Spicy Its Finger Lickin' Good". All flyers (DP included) are meant to fully utilize their torrent flamer templates while zooming.

DP will only engage CC when the size of the unit targeted has been much reduced to safely small number. I budgeted his pt cost to be 300pts, but may be reduced by taking out the Black Mace.

if i'm you, i would take a cheap dark apostle to make sure my cultist will not run away.

then you would have some points left to get more dakka stuff.

the model is awesomely good by the way.

The DP setup is invalid. You cannot take Burning Brand of Skalantrax and The Black Mace at the same time since weapon Artifact must replace one weapon you already have. DP only has one close combat weapon so can only take one Artifact weapon.

Its ok, we learn from our mistakes. The most important thing is that the DP & Helldrakes can still their fly-by-flaming attacks muahahaha!!

So now I might have enough pts for a 3rd Cultists sqd!

wow, 300pts for something that can be knocked out of the sky with a single S10 shot... not worth the points!

Question - Joe: Does the DP has to be put as reserve (since he's a FMC) or can he be deployed as normal?

Other than flying DP, what other good options can I use if I want to maximize the usage of Burning Brand of Skalathrax? Biker Khorne Lord?

Can I take 2 HQs with the same Burning Brand of Skalathrax?

DP with dragon-flame ability..

Helldrakes..more dragon-flame abilities..

Lascannons-Preds all with dragon-head bits at the muzzles of their lascannons..

And cultists as sacrificial 'lambs' for the DP & Drakes..


...in short, mine is definitely not as OP as Dann's .

That is not a fluff. That is a theme. Ada beza punye bro..

Cheh, I just take Warpsmith and call it a fleshmetal list.

And the Cultists in my lists are servitors. Tadaa, cheese justified.
