Experimental Mechanized DA

I don't have the codex, so I'm not sure of the pt cost (Need to borrow yours asap AK ). Still, I remember some of the key items that immediately give a deep impression to me that shape my list building.

Well, my initial idea is something like this (pls correct my pt cost as i'm just estimating using the Codex: SM as guideline).

1. Librarian: Lvl.2, T-Armour, Combi-Plasma, Force-Axe, Powerfield Generator

1(a). Command Sqd: Standard of Devastation


TROOPS
1. 5-men Tac Sqd: Bolters & 1 Missile Launchers with Flakk Missile upgrade

2. 5-men Tac Sqd: Bolters & 1 Missile Launchers with Flakk Missile upgrade

3. 5-men Tac Sqd: Bolters & 1 Missile Launchers with Flakk Missile upgrade


FAST ATTACKS
1. Dark Talon Bomber (do I get the correct name?)

Total Points = Not sure 1750pts or not. Might have to cancel the 3rd Tac-Sqd.


The key elements here are
1. the super cheap LvL.2 Librarian - hopefully I can get invisibility spell to better protect my main LRC with 2+ cover in addition to 4+ invl,

2. Powerfield generator to give 4+ invul bubble to friendly DA units within 6" - thus my LRCs & Bombers can benefit from 4+ invul,

3. Standard of Devastation


If the LRCs survive the 1st turn enemy alpha-strike (D-Pod melta units..etc), then I'd be potentially having 120 T/L S4 shots at 24" range starting from Turn 2 in addition to all my other shooting attacks! NASTY !!

The Powerfield is just 3 inches. You need the codex. I've done reading through it. So come and take it from me lah bro.
