| Nice! Yes, the red Guardian comes out nicely. The thing about re is that it works well even without highlighting. You might want to try washing it with a darker red or brown inks/wash/watered down paint. This should start setting you up for a cool looking Saim Hann army. How do you like jetbikes? | |

| Thanks! Appreciate the advice too. I really like the look of the jetbikes. Just that I'm doing an Imperial Fist for the PWGC event. Eldar have a really nice elegant look though. | |

| The red looks nice.. The simplest thing you can do to improve the look: i. put some dark washes at the deep areas; and/or ii. orange/yellow hightlights over the edges.
Keep it up!

| Ditto for the gretchin. Wash it with a dark colour (e.g. Nuln Oil) to bring out the details.
Apply a really thick layer of wash, as it will thin into the crevices once dry.
If you don't have wash, dilute some dark brown / black paint and add a drop or two of dishwashing liquid for an equivalent. It breaks the surface tension. | |

| Gretchins are supposed to be lighter in colour than Orks. Maybe a simple dark wash, then highlighting with a lighter green to bring up the details. | |
