I am almost done with my WoC army just need a few things left like the battalion box and another box of chaos knights, So far I am loving fantasy, to some degree more than 40k surprisingly because of the more "Balanced" and tactical approach.

From what I've seen in fights, WOC doesn't need much Spell Casters except to stop or dispel your opponents spell casters. They've got so many innate buffs already on their unit, that you don't really need spell casters for them.

festus is level 2 but yeah min magic, dunno but I feel in this few games magic is great but having so many casters does not do much apart from rolling on a 6 for extra dice and more spells but you cant really cast everything either.

I dont deny magic is awesome tho! just that in this list wanna avoid the unkillable Sorcerer lord list

paxxy, the games we've played were small ones so there wasnt any lvl4 wizards. Kadir is right to be surprised. Magic owns big time in normal games. A level 4 wizard alone would do so much damage against your single lvl2. My empire army has 1 lvl4 and 2 lvl2 wizards always in standard games. if you only have a lvl2, every single turn my whole army will be at WS10 and I10.

I do have a list for a level 4 tzeentch unkillable sorcerer similar to iqbal punya... but seems everyone has one of those lol

It do seems more powerful than the previous one.

How many games you have already? it seems weird to me to suddenly play T&T when I've forgotten most of the core rules already. I'd like to have 3-4 games before we begin so can recall and get used to WFB again.

U are making me remembering some really good memories here...Among other things, AK's 1st game ever in GW game - we played WFB on the floor of my living room with made up terrains from books & stuffs. Even made use of the carpet's outline-features to determine the 6 x 4 border.

But 3k army? Never realize that the gaming size has evolved to such a whopping figure..

actually should be 2k but I made a max list first, as my max I will play for fantasy

Based on few games of 8th Ed I've done, I think the best point limit is at 2.5k.

I'm currently bz like crazy trying to settle my students' exam/PBS records & stuffs, plus the STPM-MUET exams which is an on-going process..memang tak ada masa!!

Turns out yesterday i was playing 2241 pts cause i roughly drop my 3000pts army to something that can fit 2500! Anyway yesterday was fun! had two games the first just didnt work for me all my rolls were total BS and faizal agreed! Second game was a bit better but we stop half way just as the game was getting interesting.

Working on a proper 2500 now to make sure it will be points correct

Well if you got time on Sunday most of the Fantasy League players will be playing on Sunday at Wira. Why don't you bring that 2500 list over and well see if we can give you 2500 game.

after those two games I still feel I got more to learn. Trying a Slaanesh Sorcerer instead of the Tzeentch one. Mainly to access the lore of shadow. Uncle Festus really does wonders for his unit so I am thinking of sticking him there with his horde unit a while longer. I kept the hell striders cause they just look too nice!

There's a lot to learn. I spent the last few days rereading the BRB whenever I can. Then only do I realized that both me and my opponent played so many things wrongly in our game.

I don't think we're ready for T&T yet. Maybe after 2-3 more games is okay.

Now onto your list. It looks okay with 2 spellcasters. My guess the BSB will join the Chaos Warriors in a block of 6x3 while Festus with the Marauders (10x3?)

What good does Festus brings to his unit?

5+ regen and also can cast D3 toughness on unit (depending on spells) but generally nurgle spells are pretty awesome.

... and a freaking cool model!
