Since they don't allow dataslates so got to scrap Be'lakor from the list. Planning to take Black Legion as allies, having a DP with Last Memory of the Yuranthos as a replacement of Be'lakor.

The last memory of Yuranthos is gila dangerous item for Ld9 Prince. You have a Spell Familiar, will it help? Don't remember what Spell Familiar is.

nova is good. affects all enemies regardless they in combat or in LOS.
best is the Blind test. Super good against Tau and Necrons with low initiative tests. Smile
oh.. did i mention it ignores cover too. Smile

Yup.. Nova is good but usually the range is short.
TLMoY is good because it can be boosted to 36 inch Radius of Blind causing fireball.. Real nice!

They just had a meeting and confirmed only allow the 3 supplements (Iyaden, farsight, black legion).
Oh well, guess I have to fall back to the DP with Last Memory of Yuranthos.

Not sure about the hard copy requirement.
But best to check la. Will update again soon.

Just tested the screamstar along with the CSM Yuranthos DP against Jame's white scars ally with Tau. I was playing:

3 Crisis Suits with Skyfire, missile pods, 1 shield drone

I lost the game. lol. (that's something new right?)

Was my 1st time playing against the new Marines and their Centurions' grav cannons. I must say that they are damn good. And white scars getting Hit & Run really is a game winner as I can't lock any unit with my screamstar.

Then again, I have 2 Level 4 psykers, and 3 Level 3 psykers. I had 7 rolls on Divinition and I did not get any Forewarning (crucial for the screamstar). I had 7 rolls on Telepathy and I did not get any Invisibility. lolz (some days your rolls can be damn sucky)
James is very good with his army, a careful strategist player. Didn't get much opening against him. Well played game.

My though on the screamstar. They are not that good. Too reliant on too many things to make it work. 1st I have to get Forewarning. Next I have to get Grimoire on them.
Furthermore there are just too damn many spells to remember. I couldn't grasp the army at all as I kept forgetting this and that. Not good. Sad

So back to the drawing board. More dogs, 3-4 FMCs is enough. Only play screamstar with Be'lakor where you get definite Invisibility. So if no forewarning still not that bad for the Screamers.

Not so keen on the Pg tournament now coz need to buy the black legion book. Unless got someone I can pinjam the book la. So yes, I can start testing Be'lakor awesome rules for the first time next time! Very Happy

They released the new version of rules pack. 2 days event with 2 games each day. each game is 3 hours. and each round is limited to 30 mins. that really turn me off. decided not to join. those that are going, good luck! Smile

yea man... playing daemons not just have to remember the spells, also the gifts they have and their bloody special rules.

James played his army very well with little or no mistakes on his sides. I rather have flesh hounds more than the screamers. Flesh hounds are much easier and straight forward. Smile

With the 7th edition's new psychic able to summon daemons, I took my Daemons for a spin in 7th ed. In short, I tried 2 games vs Alvin's DE/Eldar and his BA Death Company.

Some thoughts:
- Vehicles are such a pain the ass now. So much harder to deal with if you do not have access to mass shootings that can glance them to death.
- FMCs are tougher with less chance to get grounded but less offensive since we can't change to glide mode and assault on the same turn.
- Daemons' new psychic is super fun! Very Happy
- With most of the Daemons' shooting now done on Psychic phase, they don't have much things to do in the shooting phase.

With some experimenting, this will be my new list to prepare and try out next weekend. Smile
