and depending on opponent's army, if it is shooty, the destroyers will deepstrike for alpha strike. else they will be deployed to provide suppressing fire along with the army.

I got my destroyers back from Pg. Who wanna test against the list this coming Sat?

Ya, tried them with the particle beamers back in 5th Ed.
Now they are better with just plain gauss to harrass flanks.

I feel the destroyer list is a bit weak in the Troop department.
If the ori destroyer list not working, might need to test this list out.

Trazyn is okay lah.. but dont you think Destroyer Lord fits your Destroyers more. You have 2 Destroyer units and Wraiths as escort.

no more budget for necron flyers. lol

anyway, after the FAQ, doom scythe not that powerful since it can't touch other flyers. might as well use the cheap cheap Annihilation Barge for half its cost.

i will test both destroyer lists. 1 with the destroyer lord but only with 2 troops. while the other one more balanced with trazyn having 4 troops.

Why not Doomsday Arks? Those look really tempting now that the meta seems to be headed for termies and FnP units.

And of course, the whole DOOOM!!! thingie you have going on.

@Dann : Doomsday Ark cannot hit Flyers.. But S9 AP1 Large Blast really scares the hell out of my DE

Too much of a one hit wonder type. Not so reliable in my opinion. For the points might as well get 5 warriors on a night scythe for 10 points less.

Destroyer list without Destroyer Lord is a bit out of theme. So have to redo the list again. No choice but to remove the Wraiths but compensating back with Scarabs and Spyders. Destroyer Lord will join the Scarabs since now beasts move 12".

I have this 1500 points list in mind. Dunno can work or not.

- 1 Abyssal Cryptek with Veil of Darkness (allow unit to move by deepstrike)
- 1 Tremor Cryptek with Seismic Crucible (minus D3 to enemy assaulting unit)
- 20 Warriors

- Obyron
- Overlord with Warscythe, Res Orb, Mindshackle Scarabs, Weave
- 2 Voltaic Cryptek with Lightning Field (causes 2D6 S8 AP5 to enemy assaulting unit)
- 20 Warriors

- 1 Triarch Stalker

- Annihilation Barge
- Annihilation Barge


Total: 1495 points



I'll have 2 units of big block of warriors advancing and teleporting (if necessary) firing lots of gauss. If Nemesor unit gets stuck in combat, Obyron will auto go in and help and next turn able to teleport out of combat to safety.
Problem is that I'll only have 5 units on board. lolz

This cannot happen because when Obyron teleports into combat, he doesn't automatically joins Obyron's unit. They are 2 different units fighting the same combat.

2ndly.. Instead of TremorTek accompanying Nemessor, I might consider taking at least one Necron Lord with MSS.
