I dont have access for army painter stuffs, so I just use Tamiya Italian Red on mine. Okay lah..

sounds good to me then. haha. so many things to paint. anything to help speed up the painting is good enough for me!

Last Saturday, I brought my WE to HForge with a slight tweak here and there to fit in more Predator, Kharn and the Heldrake. This was the list I played that day:

I was lucky, my opponent was a very rare Sisters of Battle!! This was only the 2nd time I faced a SoB list and the 1st time was waaaaay back in 2004 hahaha. My opponent was a noobie, Anne and this was only her 3rd game of 40k. Her list:

The game was Purge The Alien and the Sisters go 1st. Some notes about the SoB and the game:
- The Act of Faith is one good rule for the SoB. Sadly the mechanisme makes it hard for a unit to perform the Act (Activate on roll of 5+). Not to mention they are only allowed D6 Faith Points per turn which to me is not a good ruling by GW. D6 Faith Points might be big for 1k game, but 2k? or Apoc scale?
- Penitent Engine is one scary unit in CC. D6+1 attacks base at S10 AP2 and every unsaved wounds caused generates additional attack ala Blood Talons (but these bonus attacks doesn't generate animore attacks). Lucky I bring Kharn that day.
- The Exorcist is one good Heavy Support to have. Predator with D6 Bloodstrike Missiles every turn is scary!!
- SoB was one nice army, in the hands of good opponent, they can be hard to deal with. My opponent's lack of experience however greatly shows in this game and it was not very hard for me to predict what she was going to do. I did provide some advice here and there, especially during deployment and movement phase in the early rounds. But she decided the other way around most of the time
- The game ended wiin favour of my WE, 9-4 in KPs.

No need to test against Orks or Nids since there aren't any player playing them. lol
