Play this list yesterday against Alvin for the Legio League:

The game was Scouring and the Blood Angels go 1st. Some highlights:
i. BA got 1st Blood destroying one Rhino. His reserves later drop in perfectly behind my LR and blew it with Meltaguns.
ii. Kharn and Daemon Prince assaulted Dante and the Sanguards. DP challenged Dante but he declined. They killed the entire Sanguard unit but Dante is gila lucky suffer only 3 wounds after taking 8 AP2 wounds from Kharn+Terminator Champ.
iii. BA killed the DP with focussed firepower. Corbulo then slay Kharn in a challenge.
iv. I have nothing that can handle the full Assault Terminator + Dante + Libby + Corbulo. So I proceed with delay games, while sending my Heldrake to finish all the BA troops.
v. My WE was leading by 8 - 5 in turn 5. But the game proceed to Turn 6 where Alvin turn it into his game, leading by 4 - 1.
vi. Then came the Turn 7. All I have is 2 Berserkers and the Heldrake (2 HP left). But the WE still got chance to grab a 4 Points Objective nearby if the Heldrake survived. A Land Raider Crusader took it from behind, causing 3 glances and BOOM!... There goes my hope of winning the game
vii. Alvin win by TA on turn 7.

I thought you should be testing your new Khorne Lord on juggernaught.

Furthermore CSM DP is over-rated. The points are better used else where.

Corbulo is a bane to us. Having so many AP2 is pointless against his 2+ FnP. That's why you should have some power fists around your army.

Wait Alvin.. last night I had another look at the codex. I made a mistake about the Black Mace.
I thought it was like Power Mace, meaning Strength + 2 AP4 Concussive.
But it was actually Strength (user) AP4 (AP2 on DP) . So my DP was only S6(7 on the charge), not S8. Lucky I didn't caused any Instakill in the game.

Still.. that should never have happened. Sorry bro..

awesome fight there. I have been missing alot. Got visited by papa nurgle since CNY a full week of doing nothing but going back and forth to the hospital... the chaos wind is strong this month.

In the last game, my expensive DP loses 2 wounds from small firearms. T5 for DPs isn't good enough. Not to mention they're no longer Eternal Warrior. So again I'm looking to the prospect of a daemon ally.

Just wait for another 2 weeks to get your hands on the new Daemon codex. If the rumored is correct, Daemons are allowed to be able to deploy normally.

And if the khorne chariot acts as a transport, we can have a daemon version of an Ork Trukk reinforcing our Khorne brutality.

My WE had another League game last Friday. It was against Subhan's Necrons. I use the same list that fought Alvin.

The game was again, Scouring and begins in a Night Fight. I got nothing much to highlight because it is a very straightforward game where the Necrons beat my World Eaters. It was a fun game but very tiring due to my uber bad dice roll. My rolls were so bad throughout the game makes me glad the game doesn't ended in TA.

I'm looking to resurrect my late 4th Ed list. Something not so fluffy but seems balanced enough for weekend games:

I'll take a Portalglyph for sumoning more Daemons. D6 lesser daemons doesn't seems much, but they can still capture objectives very well.

My World Eaters had a go against Alvin's BA yesterday. The game was KP, Hammer and Anvil deployment. The game goes for 6 turns and the result was:
WE : STW + LBkr + 6 KPs = 8 VP
BA : FB + 10 KPs = 11 VP! BA wins

It was a bloody battle. 19 Berserkers, 4 Terminators, 10 Raptors, 1 Reclusiarch, 15 Death Co. Marines, 10 Assault Marines, 6 Tactical Marines, 4 Devastators = 69 Marines casualties! Tu tak kira driver Rhino + Preds lagi hahaha..

When my Lord assaulted Corbulo and the Devastators, I forgot that he has VoTLW. Otherwise could have destroyed the unit and challenged Corbulo for another 2 KP. Still wouldn't have won the game, but Khorne would be more pleased. That Corbulo has escaped him far too long

It was a very fun game, lots of close combat and funny moments. Thanks to Alvin for the great game.

Lupa nak mention one important event

In the game, the Reclusiarch fought a Raptor Champion in a duel. But ended in a draw. The Raptors later flee and he went on to fight a Skull Champion (with PSword). He killed the Champion and continued to fight another Skull Champion (with PAxe), which he easily defeated. Then he fought the 3rd Skull Champion (with PFist). The Skull Champion survived 3 wounding hits, strikes back and slain the mighty Reclusiarch and guess what..?

The Skull Champion turned into a Daemon Prince.

When I think back. The Skull Champion really deserves that gift

I tried the Helldrake as dedicated anti-flyers (Hades Autocannon) for the first time yesterday.

i. It came in on turn 2 but killed nothing.
ii. Then RG Storm Raven entered the battlefield and shot everything at the Heldrake (TL-Multimelta missed!), causing one glance and one pen. Both shots was saved by Daemonic Aura (waah!)
iii. The Heldrake killed 3 Tactical marines with Vector Strike and then shoot at the Storm Raven. 3 Hits --> 2 pen --> reroll with Daemonforge --> another pen!!
iv. Heldrake win!

Quite okay lah.. I'll do another testplay today since tomorrow cuti kan. My list was:

Eh? Main 2k game ka? Apsal?

Mula-mula saja nak try Daemons, so can try all Khorne Daemons at the same time. After a few games seronok pulak hahaha..

Tried the Heldrake with Hades Autocannon again last night. This is what happened:

- Turn 2, Storm Raven comes in and took out a 5 man Raptor unit in a single shooting.
- Then Heldrake pulak masuk. Stop in front of the Storm Raven, 18 inches away. Shoot --> 2 Hits --> 2 Pen (after reroll with Daemonforge) --> Stunned and Weapon Destroyed (Left Hurricane Bolters)
- Turn 3, due to stunned, SR can only Zoom straight forward 18 inches but that spot was taken by the Heldrake. Having no other option, I had to put it in hover mode.
- Heldrake move away, killing 4 Tact Marines with Vector Strike, then shoot at the Storm Raven --> 3 hits --> but rolled 1,1,2 for pen
- A Predator destroyed the SR with Autocannon shots.

Conclusion : Though the Heldrake failed to destroy the SR, it do play a big role in taking it down. I must say the setup is not bad at all. Seriously, I'm starting to like it

Is too dedicated to anti air. Is good that it can fire 360" but the bale flamed option has much more ROI than the hades auto cannon in comparison.

Of course.. Baleflamer is just too much

It was the 1st time I try the new chaos dreadnought and I must say, it was not bad at all.

In the 1st game it suffered 1 Crew Stunned but gained Rage and Fleet instead. With Fleet it easily reached a Rhino in assault and destroyed it with 4 S10 attacks, killing 2 passengers in the explosion.
The passengers then tried to bring it down with meltagun but only managed a glancing hit. The Hellbrute gained Rage and assaulted another Tactical Marines nearby, killed 3 guys but got destroyed by a PFist.
Okay lah kan..

In the 2nd game, it gained rage and destroy one Tactical Combat Squad with shooting and assault. But it was countercharged by Tactical Termies (infiltrated with Shrike) and destroyed in the 2nd turn after killing 1 Terminator.

Shouldn't use SM to benchmark with your CSM la. SM is pretty outdated. I think you should test it out vs your Necrons.

Maybe I really should do that

IMO, SM are still good. They can still give out a good fight.
But more importantly, I wanna try out the new Storm Raven

So far the SR didn't perform very well. It kept on losing in dogfight against Heldrake. Unlike Dann's, my TL-MMelta failed to destroy even a single armour till this day. Must be my roll lah.
