| I think having 3 Jugger Heralds running with the dogs is a bit waste. That's like over 700 points in 1 unit. That's putting too many eggs in one basket. Furthermore having only Fateweaver as the only flyer will mean all enemies' AA targeting him. The list has to change. | Tried the list out on Saturday vs Alvin's BA. Alvin wanted 2k so added these for 250 more points: - 10 Bloodletters - ADL with Quad Gun - Give the DP Greater Reward - Give Soul Grinder Warp Sword (pointless but just point filler) Lost very badly as I conceded in turn 3. Game thoughts: - Played super wrong. Had my 20 Hounds scouted and ran to the mid of the board along with my FMCs while Dante and 2 units of SG in reserves which would deepstrike into my lines. - The DP carrying the Grimoire of True Names should always stay afloat all the time and keep close to the dogs to keep giving them 3+ inv saves. As I couldn't swoop back to my lines, I decided to glide him to U turn back but died to all the SGs' meltas. - The Hounds got tied up with the Termies. Should let them be. I stupidly charged my LOC into it. Due to combat resolution loss, LOC got sent back to the warp. - Nurgle Soul Grinder got nuked when the SG dropped in. As his army nothing for the Soul Grinder to shoot at in the beginning, should have deep strike the Grinder instead. Currently thinking of Slaanesh grinder with Baleful Torrent (Template S6 AP4 Torrent). Slaanesh gives the grinder rending. So can use the grinder as another assault threat to the enemy. Furthermore can make my army muhibah theme with all 4 gods present. | |

| Tweaked the list a bit in preparation for this weekend soul harvesting. HQ: ---- Fateweaver Lord of Change - 2 Greater Rewards - 1 Lesser Reward (will swap for Staff of Change) - Mastery Level 2 (2 Divination) TROOPS: --------- 10 Plaguebearers - Instrument of Chaos 10 Plaguebearers - Instrument of Chaos FAST ATTACK: -------------- 20 Flesh Hounds of Khorne HEAVY ATTACKS: ----------------- Skull Cannon of Khorne Soul Grinder - Daemon of Slaanesh - Baleful Torrent Daemon Prince of Tzeentch - Flight - Armour - 1 Greater Reward - 1 Exalted Reward (will swap for Grimoire of True Names) - Mastery Level 3 (3 Telepathy) Total: 1750 points The strategy is to always keep the Slaanesh Soul Grinder in reserve along with the 2 units of plaguebearers upgraded with Instrument of Chaos. Instrument allows to me to chain pull a unit in reserve which have not roll for reserve roll yet. Basically unless I roll super badly with 3 dice not getting a single 3+, I will always ensure my Soul Grinder performing alpha strike on turn 2 guaranteed. | |

| Managed a game vs Subahan's winning Necron mech list with my daemons.
Though Fateweaver died on 2nd turn from his whole army firepower, managed to win by turn 3 where he conceded.
Some highlights: - 1st Warp Storm rolled "the dark prince thirst" meaning affected unit gets D6 S6 AP- rending. That however managed to pen 1 of his triarch stalker and exploded. Lol - Hallucination was successfully casted on destroyer lord with scarabs. They got "Ermm" result. Meaning they can't move, shoot, run, charge or attack in combat. The dogs took the opportunity and charged it and wiped them out.
Some thoughts for the army: - Fateweaver seems to always die first. Should always give him the true names jacking his inv saves to 2+. And since is a daemon of tzeetch, he gets to reroll any 1 for saves. That way he would be able to up in the sky til mid game. - Annihilation barges are dangerous to flyers. Should always target them first.

| Finally managed to stress test the army. This time against Alvin's DE. He got 1st turn and night fighting. lol. Start of the game, was an upright struggle for me when my LoC just died without stretching his wings. Fateweaver and DP kept failing their psychics. lol But somehow managed to survived 2 bad turns where my combo was successful on turn 3. Grimoire of True Names gave to Fateweaver. He only got 1 wound left but because of his 2+ inv saves which can re-roll any result of 1 due to Daemon of Tzeentch, he survived DE's turn 4's whole army firepower. Alas, he still succumbed to his death with double 1 on psychic test. lol. At least he took down a Ravager with him. 20 Flesh Hounds were shot down to only 1 Hound with 1 wound remaining which the crazy dog managed to took down both small units of Trueborn and Warriors. lol It was a close match indeed. But still got a few mistakes done on both sides which could have altered the game's result. Will definitely need to have another rematch. | |

| Gonna try something different. I noticed that my LOC is a 1 man show and don't really bring synergy to the army. Furthermore he can't take telepathy, reducing my chance for invinsibility. Gonna swap him with a Slaanesh DP which will default for Lash of Despair (assault 2D6 S:user which got rending due to daemon of Slaanesh). Is the best anti air we got. So the combo goes like this. Grimoire on Fateweaver to get 2++. Try to get invisibility (I have 6 chance of rolling for it) and keep casting on Slaanesh DP as he will always stay afloat and shooting stuff. The tzeentch DP will take the LOC role and go bashing with his S8. This army will die to lots of S10 weaponry. Lol

CSM provides the firepower that the Daemons lack of. Heldrake and CSM DP can fly around taking out stuff in cover. Warp Storm will never affect friendly units that are unmarked. So the Heldrake, Havocs and Cultists should be fine. Plaguebearer with instrument meant to pull in heldrake. I have a Masque to complete the 4 gods theme in this army as well as to cripple deathstar unit. There is 1 powerful dance she can perform that says targeted unit (is a shooting ability so cannot Deny of the Witch), -5 WS and can only move, run, assault and fallback at D3". Damn nasty on deathstar unit. If shooty unit, I can choose to use -5 BS to them and they can't fire overwatch. So many combo maut! lolz What do you guys think? | |

| Tried the list, is pretty boring and tedious to keep track of so many psychics and gifts. Plan to go back to the original list with more guys running on board and 1 less FMC.
