In 6th, we cannot assault if dont have LOS to the target. So hide them properly lah. Just put them in those Falcons lah and disembark later in the game.

| Now that DE's Huskblade is AP2, i'm thinking of taking DE as ally just for back-up cc unit (Archon + Incubis) & anti-flyer (razorwing/void raven). | |

| I am starting to see the uses of the void raven vs the razorwing... the void raven seems like a better bet for anti air/anti tank | |

| If anti Flyers.. take Voidraven saja. You can even target 2 unit at the same time. 1st come in and drop void mine on enemy unit below, then shoot void lance to enemy flyers. S9 AP 2 is dont play² wat. | |

| Had my 3rd 6th ed game last nite..from midnite till the wee hours of the morning at Kadir's house. Nearly 5 hours for 1 1750pts battle. Why did it took such a long time? 1stly, we want to make it as our entry in the Paxter's Bat-Rep contest, so we had to re-position the casualty models to take pictures right after each shooting/combat phases, which took quite some time. 2ndly, we played until Turn 7! Pehh!! I won't spoil the fun & tell the results, cuz I'll leave that to when AK make our Bat-Rep. Suffice to say that I had a load of fun using Guardian J-Bikes, Vypers & Falcons!! Who says Mech-Eldar is dead? They rock!! Nevertheless, they are fragile as hell, especially when facing AK's 8 lascannons combo ! Using Imperial Eagle dice-set suck big time, but hey, that was my mistake for taking the wrong dice box. 'Little'-Bro, hurry up with our Battle Report hehehe!!! | |

| I came up with this list - again the marriage of convenience between Eldar & IG. What can I say, I need them Vendettas to cover my airspace!! FMCs & Flyers are scaaaryy!!
Primary Detachment - ELDAR
HQ 1. Fuegan 2. Farseer: Rune of Warding, Spirit Stones, Fortune & Guide
TROOPS 1. 3 GJB: 1 x Shuriken Cannon 2. 3 GJB: 1 x Shuriken Cannon
HEAVY SUPPORTS 1. Falcon: Pulse Laser, Starcannon, Shuriken Cannon 2. Fire Prism - Basic 3. Fire Prism - Basic
FORTIFICATION 1. Bastion: Quad Guns - Fuegan goes here!
Secondary Detachment - IG HQ 1. CCS: Commander with Bolt Pistol, Veterans with 4 Flamers
TROOP 1. Veteran Squad: Lasguns, 3 Meltaguns
ELITES 1. Guardsmen Marbo
FAST ATTACK 1. 2 Vendetta Gunships: 6 x T/L Lascannons
TOTAL POINTS = 1500
P.S: Alternatively, instead of Fuegan, I can just take a sqd of Firedragons with fully kitted Exarch PLUS an IG Griffon Heavy Mortar. The Firedragons will not be as resilient as Fuegan, but I do get an extra ordnance battery. Comments?

| Here is a not so OP BA list that I came up with. I already have most of the models except the turret weapons for the razorbacks, plasma cannons, infernus pistols..which is why i'm looking for these items if there's anybody willing to sell them to me.
HQ 1. Librarian: Basic - Shield of Sanguinius & Might of Heroes
TROOPS 1. Assault Sqd: Sergeant & 4 Marines, 1 Flamer, Sergeant with Hand Flamer & Powersword Transport: Razorback: Lascannon & T/L Plasmaguns
2. Assault Sqd: Sergeant & 4 Marines, 1 Flamer, Sergeant with Hand Flamer & Powersword Transport: Razorback: Lascannon & T/L Plasmaguns
3. Assault Sqd: Sergeant & 4 Marines, 1 Meltagun, Sergeant with 2 Infernus Pistols Transport: Drop Pod - Stormbolter
ELITES 1. Assault Terminators: Sergeant & 5 Terminators, 2 x pair of L/Claws, 4 x TH & SS
2(a). Sanguinary Priest: Basic
2(b). Sanguinary Priest: Powersword
HEAVY SUPPORTS 1. Storm Raven Gunship: T/L Multi-Meltas, T/L Lascannons, 4 x Bloodstrike Missiles, Extra Armour
2. Devastator Sqd: 4 x Plasma Cannons
3. Devastator Sqd: 4 x Plasma Cannons
TOTAL: 1500pts
Note: I'm very worried cuz my Warlord is just a basic Librarian. He's more of a support role, so I think the best Warlord Traits for him would be those taken from the Command Traits.

| I have so many ideas..so here is my not so OP Mechanized-BA Part 2:-
HQ 1. Librarian: Basic - Shield of Sanguinius & Might of Heroes
TROOPS 1. Assault Sqd: Sergeant & 4 Marines, 1 Flamer, Sergeant with Hand Flamer & Powersword Transport: Razorback: Lascannon & T/L Plasmaguns
2. Assault Sqd: Sergeant & 4 Marines, 1 Flamer, Sergeant with Hand Flamer & Powersword Transport: Razorback: Lascannon & T/L Plasmaguns
3. Assault Sqd: Sergeant & 4 Marines, 1 Meltagun, Sergeant with 2 Infernus Pistols Transport: Drop Pod - Stormbolter
ELITES 1. Assault Terminators: Sergeant & 5 Terminators, 2 x pair of L/Claws, 4 x TH & SS
2. Sanguinary Priest: Powersword
FAST ATTACK 1. Land Speeder: 2 x Multi-meltas
HEAVY SUPPORTS 1. Storm Raven Gunship: T/L Multi-Meltas, T/L Lascannons, 4 x Bloodstrike Missiles, Extra Armour
2. Predator: Autocannon, Sponsons Lascannons
3. Predator: Autocannon, Sponsons Lascannons
TOTAL: 1500pts
Its a balanced list I think, more mobility & much friendlier to the opponents, right?
With the above list, all my vehicles (except d-pod of course) can move 12" & still fire their weapons. SWEET!!
At 1750, I'll just swap 1 Razorback with a LR-God Hammer & add another melta-speeder.

| Hopefully nothing like that would happen. Which is why I'm currently using Kadir's original set of dice (they were originally mine which he inherited from me when he was 1st introduced to Warhammer Fantasy almost 10 years ago). These are the same set of dice which he rolled 9 close combat attacks and hit nothing in 1 game back in GC years ago hahaha!! The odd thing is, somehow, they work like charm in my hands. So, hopefully my 'luck' will turn for the better soon ... | |

actually I think that role has been succeeded by e stormraven. The only reason being that you can assault out of the damn thing...

| Had my 1st game yesterday with BA in quite a while..I think its my 1st BA game in 6th ed !! My list (1750pts):- Sanguinor 10-men Aslt Sqd, 2 Meltaguns, Sgt with PF & SS 5-men Aslt Sqd, 1 Meltagun, Sgt with PF & SS Corbulo Sang-Priest with J/pack & Pwrsword Furioso Dredd with Meltagun, Magna-grapple, Frag Cannon, Drop Pod 7 Aslt Termies, 3 LCs, 4 TH & SS LR Crusader Dredd with 2 x T/L Autocannons I fought against Dann's Coven DE list led by Urien Rakath. Mission no.5 with diagonal deployment setting. Some of the highlights of the game: 1. My experimental Furioso with Frag Cannon did superbly in the game. Arriving in T1, its D-Pod landed nicely on target enabling the Furioso to disembarked right next to 3 nicely-parked Raiders !! I have to say that I'm lovin' this experimental Furioso set-up as it dished out a superb no. of close-ranged shots. It took out 2 Raiders, killing quite a number of passengers, & stunning the middle Raider all in a single shooting phase ! Nasty!! 2. As usual, I totally forgot about the mission objective. Put my own obj on my left flank but deployed all my scoring on my right flank..Was more into getting to get in contact to the enemy mode .. As a matter of course, all my 15-men Aslt Marines died horribly by Dann's huge Grotesques unit. I didn't get all of them to make 1 collective charge, thus they were butchered after charging piece-meal & when the Sang-Priest was killed. 3. Sanguinor getting killed from overwatching Haemonculus is hillariously embarassing. I attribute it to my own fault for forgetting that his Haemy was carrying the dreadful Shattershard.. I'll keep trying Sanguinor for a while more, but if he's not up to the task, i'll swap him with either good old Commodore Din-te' or Mat-phiston. 4. My deathstar unit i.e. Corbulo & the 7 Dwarfs..er Aslt Termies.. were awesome..not sure whether they got their worth in pt-cost back, but had they survived till the end, I'd would have won the match. Their kill-tally: 1 Cronos, 2 Taloi, 50% of a 10-men Wracks unit. They were also super resilient. At 1 time, they were hit by Urien Rakath special shooting atks. It was the best case scenario for Dann for having rolled 11 for Rakath's 2d6 random no. of shots, at S6 (random d6 value) at AP1 (again d6 random no. of AP value). From 10 wounding hits, only 2 failed svs..AWESOME!! 5. LRC was quite ok giving mobile firing support while transporting my D-Star unit. But I'd prefer a Storm Raven since I can zoom & still fire 4 + 1 weapons at full BS. With LRC, I'm ltd to shooting Aslt Cannons & Melta at BS4 while my Hurricane Bolters snap-shooting. Can't wait to have a go with my own SR soon..very very soon.. End result: DE Coven won by 5VPs (3pts obj, Slay the Warlord & Linebreaker) to BA 1VP (1st Blood). | |

| I gotta admit, that was a damn good game. Funny as heck and full of surprises.
Oddly enough, i thought Rakarth rolling 'Master of Defence' was kinda stupid, but in the end, it was super worth it to have Counter Assault! Those marines didn't stand a chance!
I'm finding myself rather short of counters for anti-tank... considering merging my 2 scourge units into a single unit and giving them all Haywires, Blasters or even Dark Lances...

| Let's have a rematch soon. I'm itching to play BA now, & next time I'll be bringing Mat-phiston..Lvl.3 caster with Biomancy spells sounds very interesting. Plus, it'll be my SR 1st gaming appearance weeeee !! Currently I have only 1 SR. My aim/dream is to build a SAF (Sanguinary Air-Force) list + 3-4 Dreads in D-Pod! | |

| Although I'm selling my Eldar, the are still some left-over stuffs that I just couldn't let go, mostly due to sentimental value, or becuz nobody wants them. Except for 1 tiny unit in the Heavy Support slot that I don't have, the rest are just ready to be assembled, painted & good to go.
ELDAR 1850PTS - DIN'S APPROACH STRIKES BACK
HQ 1. Eldrad 2. Karandras
