Orks of DOOOM!!!

Tried the 3 dakkajets with 2 vendettas vs Dann on Fri. I think overkill too much. Was having problem moving the 5 flyers around the board and I was only lucky to face an elite army which has very small model count.

Going back to the drawing board, I think my Orks will go back relying on their numbers to do the trick.

Aegis will be deployed spread out to provide good coverage for 20 Lootas to camp. They are 10 each so that they are not fearless and I can go to ground with them getting 2+ cover saves.

Whut =.= are you sure there are numbers there? Less than 50 models ler lol. Of course i am using the normal Ork counting standard.

I think your perception of numbers vs other ppl's perceptions are two very very different things

haha.. of course i can stick to my weirdboy with 30 shootas as my numbers but it was daunting moving so many models. lol

Well you could have a Weirdboy with 20 Shootas which is less than 30 but still a good number of dudes haha.

Yesterday tried the list against Dann's Silent Coven army. Lost pretty bad. So thinking of tweaking the list a bit as I found the following:

- Don't really need Gretchin.
- Don't really need 30 boyz. Having 20 and camp behind defense line to act as counter attack for the lootas is good enough. Furthermore they are there to be the Weirdboy's bodyguards anyway.
- Need another unit of Lootas!

The defense line will be deployed as 1 super looooong line of defense. So if my opponent chose to put high terrain to block line of sight, I still have other areas to deploy along the defense line.

Since going against the cheesy Tau-dar of Pax, cover saves are pretty useless. So scrapping the Aegis to bring in more firepower (additional 10 more Lootas)

Looking at the Death from the Skies supplement book, the Dakkajets no longer have the upgrade option called Fighta Ace but is called Skyboss. It allows shooting at flyers, FMC, skimmers and jetbikes at BS3. With so many of these things around our meta game, I think is definitely worth it to upgrade them. So something has to go. Decided the gretchins have to go. lol

Can't wait to unleash my WAAAAGHHH on LEGIO this Friday. You watch out there Pax!
