i suddenly notice how effective whirlwind is in 6th ed.

that the long fangs job. All you need is one good hit....that if they dont die first la. hahahhaha. the whirldwind is not for the aircraft.. but for troop behind 2+ cover. WW are cheap anyway.. meletup pun takpe.

back in 3rd ed, people loved the whirlwind because it's so cheap. I think we can start seeing them back on the table. Cheap and effective. Only drawback is that it competes for heavy slots

in a way that whirlwind will be my first target. Cause it ignore cover, And my guys need cover to survive

The should allow whirlwind to be purchase in a squadron.. awesome gile.. 3 pie plate ignore cover... bye bye troops. STR 5 AP4 no cover = awesome.

area terrain still can get cover from barrage ma. or your weapon special rule there says ignore cover dy?

yes there is, the str 4 AP 5 ignore cover.

Even better. Undercoat them all with white, then slosh on the new GW yellow glaze with a large brush. Very quick.
