Weirdboy to got 1/3 chance to get a free Waaagh. So each Dakkajet gets to shoot out 18 TL S6 AP4 shots. Muahahaha. 1 of the psychic result has 36" S10 Melta AP2 autohit. And at least got 3 troop choice here.

With so many jets, my razorwing will be forced to fight for air superiority against 1-3 odds, stopping me from making full use of my razorwing for anti infantry support

I also got Quadgun there. hehehe

I also kinda like this list. But I don't have 3 Dakkajet to test it out. So will be playing with original list first with 2 units of shootas on battlewagon first.

something to ponder,

if you had 3 you could do a modified cantabrian circle.

Basically you can send one off in reserve every turn by jetting off, and they returned the following turn (no dice roll needed) to a more advantageous angle of attack... AE hitting a target from the rear to take out models from the back.

Since in this ed you take out models from the closest you,

you can pick them out from the rear. Although u got less shots per turn you would have a steady fire shots every turn from the rear of the enemy.

Not to mention this tactic is extremely useful for opponents with fighters, it gives you the ability to intercept any enemy fighters that is intercepting your fighters on the board.

But seriously.. the one who goes 2nd will have better advantage in a dogfight.

Cantabrian circle... Paxter must be a Total War player, or a military history buff.

Don't forget all the Lootas and Shootas providing anti-air in his list too.

Can Joo spare the points to upgrade the pilot in 1 dakkajet?

haha.... if want to make all the dakkajet with ACE upgrade, i can cut down 2 Lootas to spare the 30 points for 3 ACE upgrades.

The Quadgun is good against flyers because it has the Interceptor rule against another flyer when they first come in from reserve.

Since this year Legio 40k tournament gonna be 1500pts, I believe everyone will be scaling down as well.

The hardest part was deciding which one to remove. I could easily remove 3rd Dakkajet but that reduce the synergy with the Weirdboy (furthermore I just bought 3 Dakkajet from Alvin already last weekend. lol)

Next to scale down was removing the Battlewagon. 1 of Weirdboy's pyschic was teleporting himself and the unit he is with. It will be pointless if I get that result and poof, disappeared from the Battewagon and out in the open. To remedy that, I increased the unit to its max number.

Next was reducing the Lootas number to 10 to purposely make them lose fearless and have them camp inside the Aegis Defense Line instead. Since they no longer fearless, they can go to ground claiming +2 to their cover saves and still be able to snap fire! Brilliant I tell you!

I wish I could take my 3rd troop (the gretchins) but really don't know where I can trim anymore. So next is to assemble the 3 Dakkajets and test the concept out!!!

That's one hell of a shooty Ork army:

Shootas look scary to charge, a sacrificial unit will be neccessary to soak up its overwatch. But before that happens, dakkajets are going to wreck both the sacrificial unit, and the main assaulting unit.

Pax, I'm waiting for a dogfight vs 3 razorwings. LAN got 3 vendettas dy. hehe

I like the idea of those 10 Lootas going to ground with 2+ cover (due to aegis defense line) and still dish out tons of shot.

But is true, for an Ork army this is pretty small. So definitely need to test against horde army like Dann's

Here's hoping we either go second, or you miss 3x twin-linked lascannons in a dogfight will be useful

hmmmm, maybe we should do a 40k dogfight tournament ... flyers only!

Then stormravens sure will win la!
