World Eaters of DOOOM!!!

I think this list would be better. Having 2 squads of havocs to take care of light vehicles. then can reserve the land raiders' lascannons for something else.

Kecik gila army, but you have Abbadon and Kharn so should be okay lah. Excet for Heldrake's Baleflamer, I think the Havoc should do fine.

haha.. it is a fun list to play with the models that i won't normally play such as Abaddon, Kharn and Land Raiders.

i never tested the new Abaddon before. since i have the model, might as well try him. i wonder how he fares in 6th ed now.

I think Abbadon is always a good choice, but you must tailor your army to suit him lah. The PlasmaChosen list you and CikguDin made last time is definitely the best way to use him.

Don't plan to spend more than my current WE for CSM dy.
So gonna just play with what I have.

Last Sat managed to test my Land Raiders list but had to scale down to 1500 because Billy only brought his Chosen list.

So I have only 3 things on table:

1. Abaddon + 4 Khorne Termies in a Land Raider
2. Kharn + 8 Berzerkers in a Land Raider
3. 8 Berzekers in a Rhino

I was definitely out-gunned and out-numbered. The first impression was, the World Eaters are going to be toasted.

Well, I just played on and surprisingly I won by 1 VP (first blood) with both Kharn and Abaddon died after killing lots of stuff.
It was plan fun having Abaddon giving preferred enemy to Kharn which he usually wound on 2+ and still getting to re-roll 1 that failed to wound.

And funny thing was both my Land Raiders still survived at the end of the game. Yay! lol

When Abbadon failed charge in the 1st turn. I thought you're gonna lose already. He is truly a monster to survived all that mess. Great win bro.

He died killing the techpriest at the same time. His lack of frag grenades is definitely a bumper.

This sunday probably everyone will be back to 1750 points. Plan to bring this list to test. Only 1 Helldrake and 1 Vindicator. Replaced with more Havos and a unit of termicides to handle heavy vehicles from the rear/side.

yay, managed to test my temp world eater list vs Hakim's BA.
mission was relic and it was 1 darn close game. his list has:

Dante
5 Golden Boys with 2 infernus pistols

Corbulo with 5 shooty termies, 1 cyclone launcher

10 Tactical squad with plasma cannon, plasma gun

10 Assault squad in Drop pod with 2 meltaguns, 1 combi-melta, powerfist

2 Typhoon Land Speeders

1 Stormraven with TL Plasma Cannon, TL Multi-Melta

5 Devastator squad with 4 ML


When the game was over in turn 6, I only won by 1 VP with my lone Berzerker champion holding the relic and linebreaker. Hakim scored 3 VP with first blood, slay the warlord and his legendary fighter trait that scored another VP killing a champion berzerker earlier.

actually Hakim, if you are reading this... i think you could have won you know? your dante shot the rhino carrying the lone berzerker with relic and managed to explode it. you could still assault the passenger inside. totally forgotten about that. so i guess you earned that victory despite having only Dante alone in the battlefield with 2 wounds left.

helldrake was the MVP of my game. when he arrived, priority target was those ML devastators and they got wiped out. next i had problem killing Corbulo with my Khorne Lord as he has 2+ FnP. Khorne Lord died to his rending attacks in the end. i threw everything at Corbulo but he just refused to die. when my helldrake vector striked him, dealing 4 wounds, he rolled 2 ones. lolz.

Hakim's list is really evolving over the last half year or so... Hakim my man, you have so many stuff that I never see b4 when I play with u! drop pod, termis, plasma cannon... and 4ML... (barf!)

Seriously Corbulo is a problem for us Chaos. His 2+ FnP is HUUUGGEE! and is very good for Challenges since not many Chaos Champ brings PFist nowadays. Even if they do bring one, they need to survive Corbulo's rending attacks first.

How was your Vindicator? I was thinking to add one to my list.

i got first turn, i went full 12" and pop smoke since it was night fighting. getting at least 4+ cover saves from any incoming missiles.

but he got drop pod and combat squad them to target both my Hellbrute and Vindicator. Both were targeted at their rear. Hellbrute didn't stand a chance. Exploded. Vindicator got lucky surviving a melta shot (got stun result but it has daemonic possession).

Then Vindicator got his first shot at the termies next turn, killing all but Corbulo (damn look out sir rule).

It then managed to fire another shot but scattered, killing only 1 marine.

After that, it died to melta.

I did good considering it settled further problem with a bunch of termies with 2+ armour saves and FnP.

The 2 squads of havocs was deadly. Every turn kept pouring lots of S7 shots on the BA. Both squad only suffer 1 casualty each which is just a normal dude.

Maybe I should play just 1 Vindicator is enough. Hmmmm.......

Yup, Corbulo is well worth his points in the 6th ed.

I have even planned a BA list using him as a means to challenge Necron Overlord with MSS (Warscythe? Bring it on!) or any Chaos Champions (except Abang-Din, DP with magic-Axe & Sorcerers cuz these guys can ID him).

After had such experience with a tough nut characters like Dante and Corbulo which is good if I could ID them, better to equip my lord with Powerfist and Lightning Claw combo for the same points as the Axe of Blind Fury. I still get 5 attacks out of him and if i charge with him, i get 7 attacks due to Rage.

Decided to remove the hellbrutes because they didn't do much except giving target saturation to my opponents and babysitting the havocs.

Double team Juggerlord should be scary even against the top special characters out there right?

Yup.. That's scary. The same level as Din's D-protocol. Of course Necrons have the advantage with MSS. But that's about the only army out there that you should be wary of.

Oh yah.. and Thunderwolf Lord with PFist/Hammer.

should be okay with MMS as long as I get to move the chargers. having 2 characters is also good against MMS because only 1 needs to be in challenge. i'll just have the other one hack his way through the enemy unit.

sounds easy enough but of course might be different when test play time. lol
