Havocs got more shots and for the price of 1 hellfiend with the plasma upgrade, I can get 2 units of havocs with 4 autocannons each.
That's 8 S7 per unit and able to fire 2 targets per turn.
I think is still a better option.
Them again they perform different role compared to other heavy support.
I want them to pop light transports so that my khornees can get them.
Other heavies probably more on killing elites or tough guys.

Tried my "cheesy" list against Jaivin normal Necron list twice. Lost horribly both. lol

Some thoughts:
- My Land Raider never get to deliver the cargo. It dies just too easily. Didn't know the change for Tank Hunter. 3 Wraiths got that rule from Nemesor then assaulted the incoming Land Raider. 3+ to hit. Then failed to rend can be re-rolled due to Tank Hunter rules. And the raider got wrecked just like that. The other game was just 4 Scarabs Swarms charging it and nom nom nom it. Sad. Sad
- Flying Daemon Prince was scary but proves useless with Annihilation Barge getting so many S7 hits on him whether swooping mode or not due to the Tesla rule.
- Chaos Spawn with Juggerlord always able to get into combat on 2nd turn but Mindshackle screwed up the day locking up the Lord and slowly cutting down the Spawns with other guys.
- Berzerkers need some chainaxes. 1 game, full 10 men charged the big blob of warriors squad but the necron warriors got their 4+ saves which then managed to hold in combat. On-going combat, Berzerkers only have 2 attacks each. Pathetic. Sigh.
- Autocannons havocs were good but had problem with AV13 vehicles.


Well, good experience. Back to the drawing board for the "cheesy" World Eaters.

See?! What did I tell ya..Necron is the PRIME CHEESE!!

Sorry if sounded like I hijacked your thread, but try la 3 Helldrakes all with Baleflamer + 3 Auto-Las Pred + 1 Flying DP with torrent flamer. Troops just cheepo cultists sqds put in reserves. Still got +- 130pts to spend.

Preds to target them AV13 Cron vehicles, torrent flamers to nuke 'em Cron-troops extra crispy so they won't reanimate. Once AV13-tesla threats destroyed, torrent-fire them Wraiths - sooner or later they'll bound to fail their 3++ svs.

At least that's what I had in mind la. Good luck on your army-list-drawing board! Twisted Evil

Ok! back to the topic. Will remove the land raider for another squad of Berzerkers. The DP is also removed for more shooting (another squad of termicide and Oblits).
At least feel safer to have 3 troops now.
Sad that my Berzerkers can only see battle earliest on turn 3. Sad

Deployment time will have 2 rhinos of berzerkers and Juggerlord with Spawns rushing towards you.

Damn I just found out that IC without infiltrate rule can't join the infiltrating unit during deployment. So might as well sit Huron with the havocs or cultists to give them fearless and he can man the quad gun with his BS5

Your list got potential bro. I would have do the same if I didn't play pure WE. Maybe once in a while, when I'm bored with my WE.But I'd take 2x16 Berserkers instead. Fluff for the Fluff God!!!

1500 pts can't really take up 2 squads of 16 berzerkers without losing the other shooting elements. Sad

But redone the list to make it fulfil the Khornate sacred number of 16 Berzerkers.
The spare points used to add in additional termie in each termie squad. So if I do get more than 1 unit to infiltrate, I can consider infiltrate the termies as well.

Re-doing the list to fit the World Eater theme much appropriately.
And would like to give it another try this weekend. Smile

Burning Brand is S4 only. I think you mistaken it with Baleflamer. But the DP setup is good lah. Other than Black Mace or standard ones kan.

For the Chaos Lord, Marines opponent will hit him on 3+, but he need 4+ to hit them back. So in this case, taking Vets is a must if you got spare points.

The Berserkers champ dont even have PW? I'd suggest drop one Spawn for one PW in each squad.

Ya, got typo on the buring brand. Corrected it.

Power sword is power weapon ma.

Chaos Lord is WS6 base. So with Axe of Blind Fury still WS5. Ok la.
Then again, how can I let my Chaos Lord not to be a Veteran???

Got to see where I can squeeze that 5 points out.
