The birth of Heldrake kill MSU of heavy weapon teams. But I dont think it is in any way on par with the Storm Ravens

Only had enough time for 1 day today. So just tried my 2 helldrakes list today against BoonKin DA.

He has:

Commander Termie
5 Termies with 4 TH/SS and 1 CL


Librarian Termie
5 Termies with 1 CL and 1 TH/SS

5 Termies with 1 CL and 1 TH/SS

3 Bikes with 2 flamers

1 Whirlwind

10 Devastator squad with 3 LC, 1 PC


Highlights:
- Chaos Lord and Spawns assaulted the librarian termies. Spawns all died but Chaos Lord survived and killed 2 squads of termies and the librarian with his daemon weapon. awesome!
- Berzerkers running around didn't do much
- Helldrakes damn good. Finished off the devastator squad, bikers and whirlwind (by vector strike) easily.

Too bad the last Helldrake already gone. So will have to make do without one for now.

Next time I would like to test this true World Eater list without any vehicles. )

wow. another very fluffy list. first lan's 9 TS list, then Vuel's 7 DG list, now Joe's 8 WE list. i love it.

the new codex surely has managed to change lame cheese lists into very fluffy ones. good chance of bagging K4 grand winner if you and alvin finally take some time to write fluff. list are fluffy and very thematic already man !!

Then you might want to consider a HFlamer/CFlamer for anti horde. 7 Combis are Overkill

The thought of having Hellbrutes to add in the CC madness into my World Eater is definitely tempting. So I guess this will be the list I can build towards if I'm playing my WE this Dec tournament.

Knowing that after the Legio tournament, the game size will probably scale up to 1750pts, i'll be focusing on completing my World Eaters.

Is a hybrid of mech up + shooty + fighty World Eater. The new thing that this list has over the old ones are the vindicators.

They are equipped to last longer than a usual vindicator.
Daemonic Possession = 2+ to ignore shaken/stun result means i will not waste a turn sitting idle not shooting.
Dozer Blade = make sure that i do not get immobilized so easily moving around terrain to get that 5+ cover.
Combi Bolter = a cheap weapon upgrade make sure that when i get weapon destroyed result, there is a 50% chance that the demolisher cannon stays.

The only concern i would have on this list is against heavy flyer list since my only anti-flyer unit are my helldrakes with S7 vector strikes.

Thoughts? Should I give it a go with the Vindicators? Or should I be better off with other heavy support unit? Hmmmm.....

2 Heldrake = WIN already against most army list.
and 2 Vindicators help solve the problem of multiple T4/5 units.
So I must say the list is good enough already.

The only army that pose threat to your list are the Longinus Initiative and Draigowing since they dont have to worry about the Heldrake, and can take out the Vindicators easily.

The only thing i'm worried against Longinus Initiative would be the 2 Stormravens. lol.

I never really try against Draigowing so kinda clueless how OP they are.

no surprise la. even have a helldrake now also wont be able to complete painting it la. i'm going for best painted award only.

Thinking of selling off my WE Land Raiders but before doing that might as well play a few last games with them.

Waah.. Abbadon + Kharn..
That Terminators with Abbadon should have CombiMelta bro. From my experience, it works better coz you can disembark, destroy Rhino/LRaider and assault the passangers.

Summore sell the LR cheap-cheap lah bro. I want it. Too lazy to paint hahaha
